I just want to put some feelers out there, did I miss something? October 25th was supposed to be a big day and yet nothing big happened or did I miss it? I know Obama declared a national emergeny for the swine flu on the 24th but I was expecting something more, according to all of the different sources declaring October 25th as significant. Any one know if anything monumental happened that maybe was not put on the news? And mods if I put this in the wrong place just move it for me because I am not sure where else would be appropriate.

Timewave said October 26th and we have a few hours left, but it doesn't look so hot..

Although:

- Dow down 240 points from last week

- Israel/Syria fighting over Temple Mount

- Pakistan captured Elite Iranian Guard

- Massive Baghdad bombing

- National Emergency declared

Some people speculate it may take a day or so for whatever happened to hit the news.

I think a lot of things happened but they will not be felt for a while. Bankruptcys and such..........
It was the night of the 26th that some stuff was supposed to go down. I also heard that Oct 26th through Nov is a time for stuff to happen.

We will see.

We're DOOMED!

Students find problems with Windows 7 upgrade

Microsoft says it is aware of several issues that folks have encountered. Most common is the fact that folks can't easily go from the 32-bit version of Vista to the 64-bit version of Windows 7. That requires a clean installation.

In addition to that issue, Microsoft notes that it is investigating two other errors that folks have been encountering. For some folks, the download hangs at a certain percentage and won't continue or resume.

In other cases, users get a generic unspecified error message. "While not widespread, this issue appears to be caused when one of the downloaded files is incomplete or has become corrupted on the user's computer. "

Sorry Nothing happened !Just like i expected. This is not the first 'Cry Wolf" this year, there has been a few.

Some of 'The Claims" gave a few days window, so don't be too disappointed just yet. The Russian Nuke guy-never gave a date, neither did the Little boy on Obama. He just said in about 5 months.

The Web-Bot claims gave a run of dates, i think as deep as Nov 7th.

Agreed... except that lately there is a doomsday prediction for what seems like every second day...
So I reckon they have a 50/50 chance of nailing it one day...

I think the prediction of the web bot must end here with that FAIL prediction of them.

Please don't flag any thread with web bot anymore.

Don't worry, something is bound to happen from now until November, and if nothing big happens then we can be sure something big will happen from November until June, and if nothing huge and world changing happens then something will happen between June and December 2010, and if nothing happens then...... I'm sure you see where I'm going with this.

Basically, there is no way to predict the future, other than making educated guesses that might or might not come true. In fact, chances are 50-50 that something world changing will happen from now until November, and if nothing happens then we can point to a certain point in time (about 2 years from now at most) and say "this event led to this current event, so web bot was right".

As you can see, this is a fallacy, because obviously every day some sort of event happens, and each event leads to the next event, and so on and so on until a world changing event happens. web bot does not predict anything, it only grabs information from the internet and then gives as "prediction" what is currently most talked about in the net. I predict that today's events were important because they will lead to huge problems later on, does that count as a prophecy? because if you look at history, every single day leads to some event that is historic or important in some part of the world, so we can't say "web bot predicts something will happen from now until November" and then when many events happen we say "web bot predicted it".

I hope I made myself clear

The only really interesting (and unexpected) thing I saw today in the news is that Leon Pedesta made the suggestion to legalize pot and use the taxes on that to finance nationalized healthcare. (Source: Drudge report).

However, to be fair to the web bot guys, they said that whatever happened, would happen Oct 25-26, then continue on for 10 days, and then the S would really HTF in about 10 days for Obama's crowd. So, we may not know what it was today.

My guess is that the stock market will continue to fall downward. Take a look at Bloomberg.com....that's what a lot of the experts on there were saying today.

I will reserve my judgement for the web bot program until 10 days from today.....to see what falls out.

Yup. Just another empty hoax. It's amazing how much ignorance exists here with multiple stars and flags, and the excuses made up to try to justify that ignorance after it is exposed.

Nope. Nothing of note happened down here in NZ. Can't see anything on the news which could be called a major world changing event. Might have to consider my wife might have something when she calls me a conspiracy nut. Or maybe just wait a bit longer.....might happen tomorrow.....

I think I am the only person who takes Obama's declaring Swine Flu a national emergency seriously. Do you realize what this means? Im sorry you didnt get the disaster you were expecting, but I promise you, the chain of events that have just been put into motion will surely suffice.

First of all, a strain of the flu being accepted as a national emergency is ludicrous. An emergency is by definition when you give up being cautious and take some kind of action either evasive or offensive. Thats what is about to happen. It is simply the first step in the obvious plot to vaccinate every last American. There may even be a new agency created to "prevent emergencies like this from happening in the future". Oh wait, our whole healthcare system is being transformed into a government agency so that will work nicely. There will new vaccines for new viruses every year. And as always, the men and women who donate the best years of their lives to this country, will be right there to test them for you.

No you are not the only one, I think it is a big deal too and will have a domino affect. I also think that the little kid may have been right maybe Obama doing this is like a metaphor for his assisination? Rarely are visions, predictions or dreams literal. I also find it interesting that the Temple Mound was in the news as being fought over, this is a huge Biblical prophecy flag.

Thanks for all the info guys it was a great help!

What's even more ignorant than putting merit into these predictions are the people who jump the gun to call it a hoax. If you knew anything about what you're trying to debunk you'd know we still have till the 28th. Not that I believe in the tmz...I'm just saying. Until that date passes, the jokes on you.

Just one question; What first started the whole October surprise? How did all these prophecies get thrown in together?

I'll admit that I feel like an idiot.

I read ATS, as I have for the past four years, and expected something to happen on October 25th. Specifically, I was expecting a "nuclear attack on the US" as numerous sources stated.

I set my alarm clock for 5:00 AM, tuning to all the news stations that my satellite dish could handle and monitored all the web sites throughout the day.

I'm relieved that nothing happened.

I DO feel drained however. And duped.

I really do need to find other things to do in my life.
