When I first saw the previews for this series over summer break, I admit, I was pumped for this one. Space sci-fi is among my favourites so I figured
they couldn't go wrong with a series set on an interplanetary space ship exploring the solar system. Man was I wrong.
What a boring show! I don't think it's even possible for a plot to unfold any slower than it does on this thing. It's partly due to the constant
flashbacks between the past (astronaut training) and present (mission to Venus); why was it necessary for this to go on for the entire season!?
The characters are all a bunch of whiners, especially the female characters. I couldn't even finish some of the episodes because the bitching was
starting to depress and aggravate me.
All in all, I give the first and no doubt only season of Defying Gravity a 0.5/5. It gets a half point for having a cool story line, one that will
sadly never get to be played out properly. Terrible. :bnghd:
What do you think of this show?
