The way

I wasnt asking for the way into the other world (its kind of view where that exactly is..).
I was interested into the practises people use to enter that world.
And what they saw there.
Like the nice white matrix room.

You are becoming aware of both your the inner and the outer worlds together. Tread carefully, the path is dangerous here. I just read the following today and was thinking about this conversation on sleep. It's about "attachment" and Self-awareness again. Sorry to belabour the point but if you're really interested in experiencing the 'other worlds' then this is an excellent place to start.

Just as the body must be bathed, detachment is the 'bath' of mind, and awareness is the 'bath' of spirit.
When you roam in mind, spirit and body remember that your resting place is in Self-awareness.

When you sleep, if you sleep 'in mind', you wake up exhausted.
If you sleep 'in spirit' you may experience extraordinary things.
If you sleep in Self-awareness, it is a good sleep.

How's that for a 'nice white matrix room'?

Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but by Me". Christians religions usually personify this statement, however if you de-personify it then it can mean that only through Self-awareness can we reach the Almighty. After all, isn't Self-awareness what Christ was all about anyway? What else is there?

When my perception changed, it wasn't in terms of worlds opening up. But rather it changed in how I seen this world and so forth. What I see with my eyes, that has not changed. But how I understand what I see with my eyes - that is much different.

All worlds, this one and any in your mind or astral projections or whatever etc, they are all just variables. It's all variables. I kind of see on the level that brings such things forth. I best can explain this with math.

On the surface of math, you have the variables. A+B=C. Now, that can be expressed in many ways. 1+1=2, 1+4=5, 89+9 = 98. An infinite amount of possibilities. But while each of those variables have unique values and so forth, they each share the same basic understanding(A+B=C).

To me, other worlds and such are just a 1+2=3 and this world is a 1+1=2. And so it doesn't interest me much. But what does interest me is the A+B=C, or the understanding behind all things. What interests me is the nature of consciousness(observer) and that which is being observed(reality). There is no reality without something to observe it, and so forth.

I don't think I can answer the question correctly because I don't venture into "other worlds" and such, and when I had my vision, it just happened. I wasn't trying to make it happen or anything like it etc.

Actually BadMedia, I was asking about your vision where you said "... I was asked a single question, I answered it, and then I was back in my body(after a short little view of me the next day)."

Oh!

Well, it's kind of funny. Because it wasn't like it was "me" that answered, but it was more like me watching me answer, or like a deeper part of me answered the question, rather than me as in my normal conscious self.

The question I was asked was - "Do you want it to end". And that deeper part of me/me answered and said "no, there is still good out there". Which to me sounds extremely corny, but that was the answer.

When I had the vision I was pretty upset at that moment because of what I seen when I looked out into the world. I think it was basically letting me know that I was here by choice, despite the evil I seen etc, rather than being a right/wrong type question.

That's interesting. I guess that 'deeper part' of you, the one watching you answer, was your true Self.

I reminded of another very powerful dream that I had years and years ago, (well before the first Harry Potter movie). It was a about a huge python snake who was talking to me or instructing me about something.

The half of it that was upright was about 6 feet tall and I remember at the time I was both very afraid yet also very much in awe of this thing. I can't remember exactly what it said but I did know, deep inside, that this snake was no stranger to me. And it really didn't talk in words, it was more like a telepathic impression it was presenting to me.

Well, there is no true self other than "I am that I am". Everything else is just an experience of that which experiences, an observation of that which observes, or a possession of that which possesses. Even when we talk about being consciousness/soul, those things are still possessions.

But it was something deeper of me for sure, I can see it likened to a "truer self", or a more natural/raw self without the manipulations of being human.

Yes, this makes so much sense to me. Body, mind and spirit are but conditionings within time and space. The true Self, however, exists outside of time and space and therefore has never, is never, and never will be conditioned by time and space. It just is.

True, honest and sincere objectivity is a difficult but not an impossible place to be. To see yourself as a conditioned personality can be difficult, even harder to sacrifice this conditioned personality to our 'higher Self'.
Our bodies and mind have been conditioned by our environment since the day we were born. And our spirit, the energy that manifests in time and space, is also conditioned with each and every incarnation that it experiences. But our true and inner self, our second nature is outside of all conditioning. It never changes and is eternal.

I wonder what the others who are reading these posts think about this. Is this too Buddhic in nature for our fellow Christians to accept? Christ taught the same philosophies as the Buddha, it was just couched in Judaic history. But the basic principles were there. The truth lies within and you must relinquish and sacrifice all personal attachments (conditionings) in order to achieve true salvation.

Know thyself and know God.
