Are we being conditioned

I am not sure if this was posted before butttt....feels to me like more so now than ever tv and movies are conditioning us for the confirmation of alien life. Shows like V, fringe, flash forward (I know not all alien shows but def. shows that project a more alternative view of science and life as we know it). Movies like the fouth kind, district 9 and knowing. Seems they are taking a more realistic approach to aliens and counter culture. I know its been done in the past with movies such as fire in the sky but they seem more frequent lately.

There have been a lot of entertainment about aliens and UFOs for a while now. I don't think that this recent wave of alien/UFO entertainment is different from before.

If there is a conditioning going on, it will be for a false-flag attack. However, I can't see that happening anytime soon unless the government's desperate enough to unite the people under one flag. Then again, this is a far-fetched theory that I read before since the government's controlling things from their side of the fence well-enough already

Alien shows used to be more campy and fantasy based, nowadays they seem much more "reality" and what if based with an appocolyptic undertone. This is what I get from it anyways. It might just be because the world seems to be buzzing about it lately.

Look way back at the original The day the earth stood still and those really old alien movies.Then came star trek and all the next generation of alien movies.
I don't think its conditioning at all...its just movies.
If so then they sure take a long time to condition us and have lost credibility with me if they have to take that long for their master plans to take effect.
If they are then they can't be all that smart.

Conditioned yes, on multiple levels. It's called culture. Culture gives most people their ideas to bounce off each other. One of these ideas which is gaining popularity, is the UFO meme.

I think the main agenda for culture is to keep people filled with enough garbage, so that they're sufficiently distracted from what's really going on. Idiots have American idol. The curious have UFO's. All along the people are robbed blind, and few bother to look around instead of up, within, or towards the tube.

Are we being conditioned for a zombie apocalypse? There have been a lot of zombie movies lately and soon to be a TV series (The Walking Dead on AMC)

Are we being conditioned to accept vampires as moody, misunderstood teenagers? There sure are a lot of movies and TV shows about them lately.

Are we being conditioned to accept creatures from Greek mythology? Because there sure have been a lot of bad movies on SyFy about them.

Are we being conditioned to accept Vince Vaughn as a role-model for how to live our lives? Because he sure is in a lot of romantic comedies.

Do you know what bothers me? That the TPTB might think that we are all the same based on shows like America's Funniest Home Videos. Evidently, they do think that we are simpletons based on the crap shows and celebrity gossip magazines provided for us as entertainment. The public proves it everytime mindless 'reality' tv shows get high viewership ratings. I rarely watch television anymore except for an occasional show or movie that catches my interest. I get my 'news' online. Television does nothing for me. I've definitely fallen out of the mainstream culture. I don't fit into it anymore. I don't really think that I ever did. The only things that appeal to me are Peace and Truth. Maybe that's why we're all here.

Starred and Flagged. Good question. I would say you could see from both ways, as is explained in the posts following yours. A conditioning is taking place, but the agenda is as yet unknown. I would advise keeping eyes and minds open at all times. Remember, a human mind is a lot like a parachute, it only works when opened.

No. You are not being conditioned. You are the condition, and you choose your responses accordingly. The assumption that you are not in control of your own mind is ludicrous when you stop and think for a while. If you think, then you are.

Now, depending on how much you project yourself outward.... meaning identifying yourself with mainly objects outside of your immediate self... you may NOT be very in control of your own mind... but it is only because of year after year of compounding of choices which YOU have made in regards to things which happen. You willingly lose your mind growing up... in order to regain it, perhaps?

One person says tomayto. One person says tomahto. The only reason most of us say it the former way is because we condition ourselves to accept it as the only way.

We are the cause. The world is the effect. Never the other way around.

Giving your power away has never been so easy as it is today. We have plenty of levels to tune ourselves to in order to deny our True Selves.

I must constantly remind myself that, at one point, I had forgotten my Origins. It's something you never lose, but you bury it... and when it resurfaces, you wonder how you or anyone else could ever get along without it.

Repeat this with me: I am the condition. If I don't like the condition I am in, I can change my condition.

Since we are the cause, the main thing we should be focusing on is our reaction to the effect. The effect is us, as well. How would we want to be treated? Would we want to beat ourselves into submission, or would we want to try and understand why we act out in childish ways, and then nurture our Effect into harmony with our cause?

Rome was not built in a day, and neither will the effect be positively changed with a violent and misunderstood reaction.

You are trying to make your theory unfalsifiable, attributing even contradictory evidence as evidence for your theory. And in doing so, you miss the point; that being there are a lot more movies being made about other subjects than human interactions with aliens. A lot more people are going to be watching those movies than are going to be watching the sci-fi movies.

We condition ourselves. We use fear as a teacher in order to overcome our own conditions.

In my opinion we have been in a conditioning program for a very long long time, the idea that we are not in control of our lives, that will have some kind of grace to call upon to overlook our flaws and guide and accept us, and welcome us back into its fold even though it created us and we have been conditioned to believe that we will also be destroyed by this very same unseen power and entity if we do not comply with several conflicting standards that this power requires, and we look above for this source this creator of us, we're told its there and it created us and its angry at us and we're unacceptable and less than what it is, but we are also part of it made in its image and loved by it.

The IT'S wanted to roam freely but their numbers were still small although they pulled the strings, the less than servants were controlled mentally through beliefs and fear of the IT'S.
The IT'S over time and through occupation of key places and positions introduced images and ideas and information and contacts and stories and technology and the servants although questioning and firstly confused , slowly but easily accepted and acclimated and even embraced the possibilties and information and technology,
generations lived through new advancements and carried the torch forward,generations passed and the old ways were forgotten,
and the boundary from old to new was finally saturated to the needed way of global culture and the IT'S were just a few steps away from what the servants called disclosure, but the IT'S called occupation.
The servants minds softened and accepting, shaped to accept or rejecting to deny, either ready soon to meet their Masters.

Very-good point in my opinion OP. Gradual disclosure may have started back in /89. With a planned release of "Cosmic Journey" as reported by Bob Oeschler.

I believe Bob was perhap's one of the best UFO/EBE Investigators. But he got himself into trouble by releasing, during a UFO Documentary Interview, a tape recorded tel conversation w/ Bobby Rae Inman ( former Admiral, NSA Director, Deputy CIA Director (short term under Clinton) , then Director of SAIC.
