Uk Government to release data to public

An ambitious new website that will open up government data to the public will launch in beta, or pilot, form in December.

Reams of anonymous data about schools, crime and health could all be included.

From December the public will be able to access Uk government documents online. This can also be done with US documents at data.gov

Data.gov is built with semantic web technology, which will enable the data it offers to be drawn together into links and threads as the user searches.

Too bad its not up and running yet, it asks for a password
Might be some interesting things in there
