The Da Vinchi Code...a couple questions.

Ok I just started reading the book a couple chapters a night then for no odd reason I read 30 of them today. Probably becuase the book is so well put together and interesting.

A couple questionsi've read till ch. 34)


Are the accusations what there saying about Da Vinvhi true in the book?

Such as he was a homosexual....

About all the hidden meanings in his paintings such as the horizontal line in the back being higher on the right side for a purpose. Such to explain a inside a joke to da Vinchis fellow collegus in the Priory of Sion.

(Is there a website where I can read more about the underlying meaning of the his paintings??)


Was Da Vinchi a Iconagrapher(is that correct).


What other true facts are in this book.

It is indeed true that he was a homosexual.

He even got incarcerated for rape or something similar.

although if you wanna get deeper into the facts in the book, check out "Cracking the Da Vinci Code: The Unauthorized Guide to the Facts Behind Dan Brown's Bestselling Novel" by Simon Cox- I glanced through it at Barnes and Noble, and it went pretty in depth.

there are also numerous other books that attempt to discredit Dan Brown's theories from the book, but they didn't seem as in depth as the afformentioned title.
