Way to dodge questions and facts. Did you help with BHO's campaign? Again, you stated Hamas was formed because of Israel's occupation of Gaza which was false. It was formed 30+ years AFTER that. al-Islami was created FIRST. They aren't the same group. You can split hairs but your statement was incorrect. Now if you said, "al-Islami was created because of Israel's occupation", then you would be correct. Hamas was formed as an out-reach for terrorism and hate funded by Iran.

I'm not defending one group or another but I do want to see facts, not blurred, loose interpretations of it.

Funny how Israel has had nukes for years and there was no danger. Iran might get them and the world is up in arms about it and for good reason. Israel is only concerned with self defense, it's not the aggressor regardless of how bad you want them to be. If any Arab states get nukes, you can bet your bottom dollar the world would change...and not for the better.

I looked at those pictures and i cant see human shields. What I do see is a civilian populous forced to defend themselves and sometimes when the Israel attacks start to come in order to get to where the fighting is they have to walk through pedestrians. You could take pictures of any soldier carrying a weapon in a civilian area and try to make the same claim. As for the pictures of groups of kids behind a masked man firing those pictures are very easily taken out of context. Those kids are clearly watching attentivly, looks more like a tutorial or a display of what the weapons can do other than a human shield.
I mean common these poeple have been in a war for generations, being bombed from above, you really think they are so stupid to as not to figure out yet to not gather in mass gatherings and engage Israel? You really think they are that mentally inept that they would watch poeple die weekly and not put two and two together and not stand around? let their children stand around? Looks like the only danger in those pictures is from bullet richochet, hence the ducking.

Yup the Jews from the Holocaust would roll over in their graves if they see what their government was doing today. I may get smacked for this comment but. They have infiltrated our white house and government and because of this, upon many other reasons when they go to war we will be going to war with them. We have enough of our own trouble without having to worry about sending our soldiers to risk their lives to clean their mess. That’s what it will come to in my opinion. Just my 2 cents.

Exactly. I was hopeful that we could get this discussion to be about something productive instead of spewing hate and being ignorant of facts. I am hopeful that something constructive comes from a discussion like this but on a bigger scale, I would like to see some sort of peace in that area.

In your eyes the productive discussion is about if the people are saying the following:
Israel is right, Israel has the right to kill, Israel has the right to bomb districts to the ground without any real reason, Israel is the king of the world, Israel is ruled by Gods, The Chosen Ones have the right to kill everyone to fulfill their prophecy, etc, etc...

This would be a pretty one sided conversation.

And here is the newsflash: This sort of conversation is not going to happen, until they can't live as human beings, until they're killing innocents, until they're breaking the Geneva Convention, until they're breaking every moral rules, until they're lying, until they're ignoring every rules which is making a man civilized. If you can do these, you may count for a productive and nice conversation. But until I can't ask: Did the crops of this year was good what you planted with your Palestinian neighbor? And until I can ask only: How many times you shot at your Palestinian neighbor... don't count for a different approach.

I doubt one man speaks for the entire population. It's time to get rid of these self-proclaimed key figures to end hatred once and for all.

Are we also supposed to forget the fact that most of terrorism is funded by Iran and Saudi Arabia? Sorry, we can't trust convicted criminals with firearms and we can't trust Iran with nuclear capability. It's naive and foolish to allow them to continue. Some of the arguments on here are ridiculous....

The sentiments that some ATS members show towards Hamas and Gaza is really not surprising. Whether they are British or American the thinking is the same. No one stepped up to the plate to protect the Native Americans when white Europeans began ripping them from their homes.

Did the Native Americans retaliate? Of course, who wouldn't?

The most ironic event that could take place would be some foreign country's military setting foot on American soil and declaring our Country the rightful property of them because God backs them. Then that invading country can be sooooo generous and they can pack all US citizens, one on top of the other, right into Rhode Island...our own American Gaza...

The same people on here who defend Israel now would have a very different opinion if we were the ones having our homes taken away by an invading country.

Hell, just let the Indians have their land back, if you want to support Israel. Do what is "right" and give up your home, make you and your family homeless because the Native Americans have rights to North America. If you don't believe me just ask the wind, sun, totem spirits. The Native Americans are after all the chosen people of the Great Spirit and this land is rightfully theirs, and they have every right to build a state on top of us.
