Has anybody heard about the cargoships that were spotted via satellite? Just yesterday, I think it was three cargo ships from Iraq were found circleing in the atlantic ocean.(sorry no link, can't find one)

This was broadcast over talk radio yesterday, on I believe it was the Joe Sucherae(sp?) bit. Now I didn't hear this myself, but I heard if from somone who was listening.

Can anybody confirm this? Help me find some links?

Drudge had a link the other day.
Here's one I just found on news.google.com: Click here.

Very interesting story. Ships set sail before the inspectors returned, they're maintaining radio silence, flying under 3 different flags. One article said they were being resupplied at sea. Interesting! They are probably ships carrying illegal oil to France and Germany, lol.

Surely if these ships are so supect the US could board and search them. The fact that they left port the day the inspectors went in, automatically should raise alarm bells.
Loading his WMD's in large ships would be an effective way to keep them isolated and if discovered the ships could be scuttled in deep water.
Or maybe they could use an SSN to sink them and pretend they had mothing to do with it.

The ships cannot be boarded since they are most likely to have been charged to scuttle upon boarding.
