The message below was posted on Craigslist...

Can anyone confirm?

It is all over the news. It happened about 1 hour ago. Police cars, the army, ambulances, and other military vechiles are all rushing to the sight. They are in the process of shutting down all roads around the area so no one can leave, and civilians can't get into the area. Alot of people saw a strange object hovering over a field for some 30 minutes. All of a sudden it just crashed into this field. Turn on your radio or t.V. It is on all the stations. This looks like it could be the real deal.

Hehe, if this is true there will be a blackout. Maybe not.

I don't expect to hear anything about it if it's even true...

Edit to clarify: I meant MEDIA blackout.

@ Craigs list. And the blatant attempt at hoaxing. (Not the op mind you but the poster on craigs list.)
Really I will go search the interwebs however I doubt any searches will turn up anything.

I think it's just some sicko getting his kicks with a post in the rant and rave section. If it is all over the news. Where's the beef?

I would take anything posted on Craig's list with a grain of salt. I would believe this is 1000% hoax.

I know it's a horrible source, that's why I'm asking around... This is the sort of thing an where an eye witness confirmation can be a big deal.

You never know. If it turns up false, it does, but you have to investigate.

PA, huh? It's not the first thing to crash under mysterious circumstances in PA...

We'll wait for more details I suppose.

I’m sorry I was not trying to knock you.

So I retract my previous
and direct it at the person on said list trying to hoax us here and around the web.

I did a Google search all I could come up with was 9/11 related.

EDIT TO ADD: Can someone more knowledgeable than I in the ways of searches, search the FAA for any recent crashes?

These are not your words, yet you make them appear as such?

Here's a couple of local PA news sites:

www.thepittsburghchannel.com...

www.pennlive.com...

This story could fit the description and time frame:

LOYALHANNA TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A person has died in a mobile home fire in Westmoreland County on Tuesday night.

Firefighters were called to Mulberry Drive in Loyalhanna Township shortly after 10:45 p.m.

The victim's identity was not immediately released, and it was not known whether anyone else was inside.

The coroner was called to the scene.
