I think it's not so much that they're "out there" but that they're on here.
I don't spend too much time in tooth fairy forums trying to debunk even though I'm a bit skeptical to say the least.

i used to work for an internet company who hired several people whose fulltime job was only to post on message and discussion boards to increase the websites ranking & improve seo (search engine optimization). i know for a fact this happens. and i know it happens to slant views on website certain ways... even to sling different products. which is why i'm always weary of anyone promoting a product. sometimes several different people at different IPs will promote the same product or idea. and it works for them, apparently. probably b/c the opinions seem unbiased coming from message boards rather than the company website. i've seen it first hand. seems pretty obvious there are disinfo agents roaming ATS - i'm sure many of them paid.

you can usually spot them by their posts if you know what to look for.

You can tell who the paid to post people are.

90% are extreme left wing with zero common sense. Soros funds this group to get this communist message out while he takes advantage of the poor and non educated.

And yes there are probably some right wingers to but that really isn't how the conservatives play the game. The key to this paid to post is Soros and well maybe Oprah.

Its entirely possible for someone to have an interest in one or two topics here, and completely disbelieve the other 80% of them. I came here for Paranormal and Religious topics, but spend more time dealing stuff about Aviation and Medical fields, for example. Some of it is just quantity. What I mean is that I might see one good thread here on Religion a day, but I might seen 50 on 911, chemtrails, space, or UFO's.

As I am not a Catholic, and I personally believe the Pontifex to be the “little Horn” of Daniel, and the US to be the second beast of Revelations, it would really not bother me. But if you want to debate me on the Topic of Religion, your more then welcome to do so. There is MUCH more truth to topics such as religion then there is to...say...Chemtrails or the 911 truth movement. Both of which are really nothing more then other religions.

People do get paid to post

There are people who get paid to post who come to Ats and every other popular site.

Religious Groups

Political parties

Law enforcement

National Intelligence of Many Nations

Corporations...

ALL Employ people these days for various reasons...

As example.... Cops looking for pedos full time, Campaign workers trying to get Individuals elected, website owners looking to create discussions on forums like this about particular theories or individuals for profit, corporations wanting to debunk negative criticisms.....

Various Islamic Organizations alone employ 10's of thousands of people (if not allot more as full time web trash talkers...

The net has a ghastly number of people posting for pay for various causes or reasons....

I know this is FACT, because I build sites and mostly for the last decade have handled the marketing end for clients...

The ones that usually make these accusations are usually the same coming up with the most crazy conspiracy theories, or the ones that take offence to anyone who opposes their point of views.

Im pretty sure people here on ats are paid to desinform. Probably most of them are in the top100 flag lvl. There is nothing that can be done, but these people probably know how pathetic they are, but they have no shame and so will continue this filty work.

I'm not paid to post, but I'm fairly sure that some people think my posts are the result of dares.
