I wonder how the world would react if we said "If there is one more Arab muslim attack on the United States we will destroy the heart of Iran."

I think they would act very confused!

According to the CIA World Factbook, Iran only has an Arab population of 3%
According to the Library of Congress, Iran only has an Arab population of 2%

Iran also has the largest Jewish community in the Middle East outside Israel.

EDIT for grammar

"Oho!' said the pot to the kettle;
"You are dirty and ugly and black!
Sure no one would think you were metal,
Except when you're given a crack."

"Not so! not so! kettle said to the pot;
"'Tis your own dirty image you see;
For I am so clean -without blemish or blot-
That your blackness is mirrored in me"

Did they teach YOU this in high school aswell?

Iran continues to stir the pot. Make threats.

Every rattlesnake that I came across that coiled up for a strike - died.

Whether or not the snake would have struck me or not didn't enter into the equation.

His posture, and his noise was sufficient to get my full attention.

And NOT the kind it wanted.

Iran - keep making noise.

You now have Israel's full attention.

And what you bring down upon your own head - it's your own fault.

They have not ever once participated in attacking Israel. They'll verbally threat back because they are being threatened. Nice twist you added there but it didnt lose me.

They are and will continue to support terrorist activities against Israel as has been pointed out in this very thread.

Sorry.

Guess my standards for applause are just too high to recognize such a "snappy comeback". And I was just beginning to consider taking you seriously.

Of course you are, because it has nothing to do with this thread, just as I suspected.

The truth of the matter is; Iran is being threatened every day by both Israel and the US.

If by "threatened" you mean "told to stop their nuclear program", then yes.

If by "Israel and the US", you mean "the United Nations", then yes.

You somehow seem to regard "Iran must abandon it's nuclear program" with "we will destroy the heart of Israel" as somehow equal in weight.

What bizarre parallels you assign.

He didnt deny the Holocaust from ever occuring

That's a straight up falsehood.

Your entire argument has more holes than a shop full of Swiss cheese, I'm done with you.

Would I be correct in saying that those people in favor of an attack on Iran feel that it's necessary to prevent an inevitable attack on Israel by Iran ?

Does anyone think that Iran would ever use a nuclear bomb in a unprovoked attack on Israel ?

Iran would never use an Nuclear bomb against Israel . For one the country is what 3 or 4 miles wide ? there is no need to use a nuke . Two , they would be distorting many a Muslim holy sites , that wouldn't go over to well at all .

No , there plan is to provoke Israel / the west into attacking them . Everything that they are doing points to this . I say don't play into there hand , don't give them what they want . Find another way to deal with them . After all there are many other ways to deal with this kind of thing but the last thing we should do is play into there hand .

they signed the NPT - and have complied with it -tell your neo-con media so stop trying to make something of nothing - 5% enrichment is for the light water reactor

as i said elsewhere -the USA allready supplied 93% pure uranium 30 years ago for free , they never made a bomb then and they are not making one now.

oh look which OTHER country 625 miles away hasn`t signed the NPT and is yet again ignoring the UN when they DEMAND inspectors into Dimona.

Israel size
8,000 sq miles (Israel could fit into Florida 8 times) but is expanding all the time
263 miles long – North to South
Width: between 9 and 71 miles wide (East to West)
Israel Area - comparative: slightly smaller than New Jersey

BUT this is exactly the same rhetoric thats been repeated for the last 5 or more years - in 2001 iran wasn`t even mentioned and were working with the USA in afghanistan to hunt the taliban

www.antiwar.com...

in 2009 they are suddenly the enemy.

its all a game

You really believe they are not going to try and make a nuclear weapon?
You probably thought the North Koreans were not going to either right? Look what all the sanctions did there, just made NK do it faster. Iran needs to be stopped now ,however if a moderate govt. were in charge there I could see holding off and let them continue.

No no justice for them, the Palestinians have a leadership spawned from terrorists so no. They continue to provoke Israel and they don't have to. If they left and went to live in Iran or other Muslim states they'd be fine but no they need to live right in the middle of Israel. Why?

In the past we have been gullible, believing that various tyrants want peace when they say they want peace. We are distrustful of Irans intentions.

We are Bush supporters, Obama supporters, Americans, Europeans, Israelis and we just want to make sure we`re safe. And if provocation and disinformation from Iran continues, diplomacy will have to be replaced by destroying the nuclear facilities.

Sorry, cant be helped.

Surprised to see so many stars above that kind of posts

I don't generally reply to your posts, since you usually descend into childish name calling and labelling, just as you are doing here yet again, but the dangerous bilge you post cannot go unchallenged.

Firstly the NPT, I could simply say something glib along the lines of "go research Neville Chamberlain", but I'll go with facts instead.

In a February 19th report of this year, the IAEA reported that Iran is continuing to enrich uranium contrary to the decisions of the Security Council and had produced at least a ton of low enriched uranium.

The report also indicated that Iran had continued to refuse to provide design information or access to verify design information for its new IR-40 reactor.

Continued production in contravention to IAEA mandates, refusal to share required reactor design details.

Any light bulbs coming on yet, no probably not.

as i said elsewhere -the USA allready supplied 93% pure uranium 30 years ago for free , they never made a bomb then and they are not making one now.

I don't know what you said previously, but while the US did supply a then stable Iran with a research reactor in the 1950s, the French based company Eurodif was responsible for supplying large amounts of enriched Uranium in the 1970s, and this formed the basis for their weapon's program.

Got many posts crticizing the French?

oh look which OTHER country 625 miles away hasn`t signed the NPT and is yet again ignoring the UN when they DEMAND inspectors into Dimona.

You assume I agree with Israel having nuclear weapons, and as usual you're wrong, I don't. The entire Middle East needs to be nuclear free. The whole region is too unstable. But of all the countries in that region who I would least want to have that capability, the barbaric regime that currently enslaves the people of Iran would be at the top of that list.

Is that really so hard to understand, even for you?
