Was it supposed to be images or video because to me it looked like images.
Well it was a fail anyway they did not look happy in that nasa room and that commander sure can move he should be in olympics.

THANKYOU

Is it possible that these were ET warnings and a show of what they will do to Earth if we dont comply?

NASA just did the cover story so if any amature Astronomers caught it, there would be a good story to divert from the truth?

I am glad I didn't stay up for this one, but was upset to think of US doing something as outwardly aggressive to another Planet in our fragile solar system without public and world concent.

What the heck is that?

I mean, what the heck is that?

Pfft.

I have always been interested in astronomy, unfortunately I cannot afford a decent telescope and everytime I watch things such as this my stomach floods with disappointment. It really is enough to make you not bother anymore, theres more detail in a toiletbowl than that footage.

I must have missed the NASA footage as well, all I have saw anytime I click the link is a computer simulation. I mean, anyone can make that.

Lol so now what? Why didn't any amateur astronomer see the explosion? I read that the plume was going to be visible to most telescopes. What the hell happened?

This is damned odd. The NASA channel, on cable TV, just blue screened. It's just that channel... all others working fine. Called my cable service and said that it was a remote problem... meaning not them.

Nice slides.

Did they use google and Powerpoint or paint?

This is a complete joke.

The science officer who just said: "This was so cool..." I couldn't help but wonder, where's the cool part?

But than she continued to say: "Nasa is really good at doing these kind of things", and I just had to laugh at thinking: "Yeah, crashing"

Plus why are they just showing us yesterday's ground based images? Why are they not showing today's impact?

"To get you accustomed to the surrounding area" she said. Huh?

I agree, this conference is a big disappointment.

Here's what I think:

Someone just stole 70 million. There was no spacecraft. Just a rocket launch.

Why did that guy run out of the control room as if WW3 had just started? He looked really disturbed.

Im not understanding exactly what the heck is going on here because the woman in the presentation is saying that they are looking for water from the images?

If you read the articles about the Indian mission they discovered the requirements to create water as opposed to actual water on the moon.

Is this woman actually trying to say there are river streams on the moon?

Shes doing all this talking without actually saying anything.

Vague does not do it justice.

PS: PMSL at the closup videos, is the lens drunk?

High resolution? Cmon, this is better....

They just showed the Indiana State University(?) time-lapsed video of the impact and you could see absolutely nothing.

Sad.

What I see is a bunch of con artists at work. A pixel racing towards the moon, that's all current technology allows us to see, really? Not a single flash or event observed so far on numerous telescopes who were recording the event, really?

I hope the fake graphs and empty moon recordings will be enough to deceive the general public.

I'm not sure what the hell that lady was trying to say.

If you noticed they stopped that video two minutes before the impact happened. That's why you didn't see anything.

so far they just showed a bunch of graphs;
pictures from ground based telescopes from yesterday;

and 2 or 3 video footage clips of basically nothing;
no plume, no impact at all visable at all;

they did show a picture of the weird thermal flash we were talking about earlier; but that was no 6 mile high impact plume;
that couldve just been a thermal camera malfunction or something

They said they would have data from the Hubble & shepherd later on. Hope we finally get to see something then.

NASA guy with specs says "We are really going to start looking at the moon (eye squint with yet another stutter) and just prodding it."

This guys talking out his backside. I can talk crap, where do I apply?

What the heck is going on with this, they are not saying anything apart from that they need to keep looking at the data?

Now they have admitted they have not looked at the data. Somethings strange.

Now they saw something that wasnt blackness? What the fricken moon?

Wow, bomb the moon and then hold a press conference to call it a success.

This sounds just like the Iraq war.

Why wont they just show footage of what happened.
