The name thing could have gone either way. Just odd that it was the way I spelled it, at the exit i would have taken at the same time I would have been there. I can't remember seeing someone else's name written on the back of a truck like that.

Hey Hazystars. Great minds? Or Coincidence?

Probably just two people on the same page.

My vote is for great minds on a similar wavelength. I found myself nodding "yes" to your posts, especially the "there's no such thing as coincidence" part.

Pretty cool guys... I kept the cards in my wallet. I didn't want to explain why I had these cards to my wife so I left them in there. : )

4 diamonds (1)
jack diamonds (2)
9 clubs (3)
9 diamonds (4)
6 clubs (4)
7 clubs (5)
4 clubs (5)
joker x2 (6)

Cards with matching numbers were from the same set (like the 7 and 4 of clubs). Thoughts?

I've heard that word before but never knew what it meant. Very interesting concept. Have you ever experienced something like that?

Oh yeah! The thing is, the signs and events are completely personal to the one experiencing synchronicity. Oftentimes an event/sign that “clicked” for you in a meaningful way will go unnoticed by the those around you.

It never fails that ATS has some of the brightest minds posting their thoughts. Good call hazystars. So your thought is that they are just a random strings of events that only I would be able to pull meaning from?

I like that you use the term "pull" to describe how you obtain meaning. Oftentimes I find myself pulled a certain way, toward a certain thing, right before one of these types of moments occurs. What I meant was that the event appears random to everyone but you because the moment is meant specifically for you.

Oh....... I get it now. I am glad I posted this and thankful you all have responded. I think I am beginning to understand what I experienced and how to prepare for another one if it happens. So the cards was something I was probably supposed to find but anyone else would have just seen them as litter....

Wait a moment while I find the pieces of my mind as it has just been blown wide open.

Here is a link that may help get you started on the possible tarot meanings of the cards:

www.buzzle.com...

The interpretations of each card will probably take a little further down the rabbit hole.

So you were "pulled" towards something? So there must have been an event, situation, etc., that you were meant to experience or be apart of, right? Maybe I was supposed to follow the truck to the stop and talk to the driver? Not like that wouldn't have sounded nuts to the driver....

My mind is racing some. These things were put in front of me to notice them. Think the reason has past? How would I know? Could the reason be coming up?

When you experienced these before, when did the reason show up? Did you allow yourself to be pulled that way? What if you missed what was happening? Sorry for so many questions....

Not an actual, physical pull, but a feeling that my awareness was being pulled/directed toward something. Most of the time it isn't an open & shut case of "I found this sign, followed by this meaning." My thought process is similar to yours, so many answer-less questions. One question that can't be answered that leads to another question that doesn't have a concrete answer. It's such a strange, interesting phenomena.

Stepping away from the internetz for a bit, but will try and post some of my weird experiences later.

Thanks for the link. I will begin looking up what each card means in the morning. If I start now, I will be doing it the rest of the night and post 1001 questions. I am hopefully you guys will be available for me to ask additional questions tomorrow? I should be getting off of here too.

Okay, an example for me of supposed litter.

I had left my husband and he had been indoctrinating my older children as to how he had paid for the house and shouldn't have to lose it. (Don't know where my money was supposed to have gone). This disturbed me and I was wondering if I was wrong to ask for 1/2 the house.

Same or next day I was taking out my trash at the apt. complex and on the way back noticed all this litter, mostly paper, across the parking lot leading to my apt. I started picking it up and throwing it away when I realized I was picking up someone else's garbage, ie, my ex's verbal garbage that I deserved nothing after 37 years.

This was not something I had to think about, it was a 'knowing'. I immediately let go of any guilt or concern for what others may think.

I will check back tomorrow. In the meantime, I have checked some of it out and they are not all the same but somewhat similar. It will be up to you to put everything together.

And who knows, maybe this will be the beginning of new adventure for you into the world of symbolism and synchronicity. Spirit/Universe really does speak to us. We just have to find the way we understand it best.

Seriously... Wow! I get it. It just sunk in. Your explanation is helping me understand what different "signals" may be given. It may not always be an event but an explanation to a certain situation or how to handle something going on....

I have noticed that syncronistic events happen in clusters in my life. I have yet to discover any hidden meaning. I think it is the "cosmic joker" just yanking our chain.

recently.........

seeing 60's vintage Ford mustangs all day long

One day I found coins on the ground all day long

One evening in a bar I was kissed by 4 different women I didn't know.

If you find out the reason for these clusters of events; let me know.

The posters have given you some great ideas to follow.

But also...have you ever heard the term "Pennies from Heaven"?

Have you lost a loved one, parent, grandparent, close friend or sibling that liked to play cards and is sending out a "hello" to you?

Just a thought.

Edit to add: Maybe lotto numbers!

Anyone remember a show called Twin Peaks?

These series of events kind of remind me of that show for some reason

You know what roadbloxx, for about 15 years or more(i lost count) I've been seeing 11:11 maybe 3 times a day, sometimes more.
More because there may be clocks around with different times.

They say that it means spririts are around you, like guardian angels and you see the 11:11 time so they let you know that they are there watching over you.

Once I even went to the corner store to buy some miscellaneous stuff and the bill came up to $11.11.... now what kind of total price is THAT??????
Then I said ok, maybe it's a sign, so i'll buy 11 lottery tickets.
A whopping 7 of the tickets ended up being winning tickets, yes 7
But they were small prizes, I won under $100 out of it lol.

I also suffer from sleep paralysis, which is waking up all of a sudden and being completely paralyzed, unlike others with sleep paralysis I am also not able to breathe, only thing I can do is move my eyeballs.
Sometimes I relate the 11:11 to my sleep paralysis conditition.

I don't know i'm babbling here, but sometimes things try to point you into a certain direction in life.

But that security guy asking for your prints just seems way odd.

I keep getting those apex security guys and they give the same lines about being best house etc. I don't recall one mentioning the felon part though. I keep shooing them away, but they're very persistant. The last guy, was about 3 weeks ago and he was pushy and very inquisitive as to why I was refusing. The way they have to ask why, really comes off as intrusive and untrusting to me. This guy also cracked jokes, done in a way to make me feel stupid for not acepting his offer. He was hard to get rid of.

I think the apex guy may just be a salesman or fraud, having nothing to do with the coincidences. However if you feel something wasn't quite right with him, I would trust my insticts on that, because I understand you have your reasons to tie it in.

Your name on the truck is eerie, even if it's just a coincidence. The playing cards are a bit too coincidental as well. Who sees playing cards laying around outside, unless you live in vegas?

Although I would love to think there are no coincidences and I try to keep un-Nietzsche about life, I think it comes down to the % of available information our brain takes it.

It is speculated that we only use 7% (number may off, I can't recall exact quote) of our brain at any one time (and many of us use much less). If our brain would be using all its matter, synapses, etc all the time we would go insane. We can only process so much information at one time. That's why (in theory) the smarter you are (hence more open links in brain) , the more eccentric you tend to be. Ignorance is bliss right?

There are SO MANY things, objects, etc existing and interacting every second we could never process it all. Someone else's name was probably written on a truck just down the road and you would not have noticed it, etc, etc. We notice things that have some correlation to our lives and try to give it meaning. We ignore the much greater number of things that do not "click".

This is why '___' is called "mind expanding" drug, it opens up a few more neural pathways allowing for more information uptake and processing.

Here is what I get from the card-tarot site provided:

4 Diamonds- Card number 4 invites unwanted and unnecessary troubles between the seeker and his family members.

Jack Diamonds- The Jack of "Diamond" is a harbinger of bad news.

9 Clubs - Indicates trouble or an unresolved dispute between an inquirer and his friends or relatives.

9 Diamonds- Number 9 is known as a card of adventure and hope.

6 Clubs- Card represents success in partnership ventures.

7 Clubs- Number 7 is known as good luck card if other good cards surround it.

4 Clubs- Number 4 is a danger card representing a series of failures and misfortunes in the seekers life

So it appears that, for the most part, I had the signs telling me that a string of bad luck was coming up with a little bit of hope mixed in. If I said the last 6-8 months were the roughest of my life, I would be understating it. You all have no idea how scary it is to see the cards stating so much bad and it happened. I would have been excited to see the readings be wrong or at least mostly inaccurate as then I could have discredited finding the cards and them having a meaning. D@MN!!

Well, so there really was something to finding the cards. I'm excited, scared, anxious and optimistic to what I will find next to help me understand what is coming up.

Let me ask this. If I was only partially aware of the cards but saved them just as I had a feeling I was supposed to find them, any chance this will happen again? Maybe not cards but something else? Does anyone have any experience with this kind of thing on an on-going basis? I would love to know if I have some sort of ability to see those objects stand out and find them or if this was a once in a lifetime experience.

11:11..... When you experience that, do you get anykind of gut reaction that something good/bad is going to happen later? I appreciate your sharing your experiences. I can't begin to imagine what the sleep paralysis must be like. I get shivers just thinking about it. Is there something that causes or triggers it (certain type of food, drink, medicine, ??) or is it a random thing? I'm sorry, how ignorant. Please don't answer if you don't want to. I am just amazed by all this.

Think of this experience I am going through as what a kind of beginning rock climber might experience when he first starts out. He does the beginner thing and listens to the stories these veteran guys tell and how exciting the experience is at the upper levels. This beginner continues to develop his skills but is never quite good enough to get to that "mountain top". One day, he figures it out and he gets to the top. His view is greater then he could ever imagine and he sees there isn't one mountain top to look from but many, many others. I am just now seeing there really IS more to life then what I have been told and from where I am, the view is great but there is much more to learn. You all helped me realize what I was looking at and to the one who helped push me up the d@mn mountain, thank you.

Please keep the APEX guys where ever you are!
The name on the truck still hasn't sunk in as bad or good and I am waiting to see what else there is to that. Maybe some of the next messages will be on the back of trucks instead of playing cards. The cards thing stuck out as a black stain on the front of a wedding dress. I knew something was up with that and started keeping them. Living 2500+ miles from Vegas and AC, I found it odd that I would see one by itself and then weeks later, another one. Etc... Don't know about you, but that just blows my mind.
