edit to add the barcodes are different. look at the one i generated vs the one that is up for google. the l area is different as well as the g areas...

Looks like code 39(or 128) to me. I remember going to a hacker speech about how ssn's would be encoded on them in school id's, which is apparently illegal.

Suspending rational thought for a second here.

One thing that I do know for a "fact", if you translate the sound of the barcode by using a scanner it would give you this....
