If You Could Change Your Username, Would You?

Thinking about it, I wouldn't really change my name. However, I've had it so long, and what with the way people shorten it, I'd like to put a space between Rune and Spider.
Y'know, to make it more like a common name. About feels like it at this point.

Oh? OK good. That kinda makes me like it again.

I would have to choose between "Derrick" not the actual name but rather a piece of equipment designed to siphon oil out of the ground or "Dingus" which was a nickname that my foreman gave to me.

Not in a million years. This is who I am more truly than anything that people in the "real world" know me. I think people who know me on ATS know the true me more than anyone that has ever known me as anything else. Nephratari is the true essence of me without the protective barriers. Why would I give up that freedom to be myself?

Not that I'm a huge Metallica fan or something, I just thought something an absurd pun like that would've already come up somewhere on the internet.

I mean, I could've even used Wyatt Riot, but then I discovered there are already so much Wyatt Riots online. Oh, and I hate butt rock.

My UN is actually a result of a game I played years ago. I played Empire Earth online. And I was cussin up a storm in a chat room and some dude named "Toodles" came in and shut me up. He was the only person who had ever managed to do so, and he became my hero. So that is where Mr. Toodles comes from lol.

So no, I would not change my Username. I love my username

I did the same thing. Very little thought. I kinda liked the folk lore of Skadi but it doesn't really fit me. If I had thought it out more than a second, I would have used WinterSun. There is a story behind that name and it fits me... Too late now, I guess.

No, I don't think I would change my username... It is the one everyone knows me by. Although I am often called GST or gimme, on ATS.

If I ever did change it, it would be to something shorter... But I don't think I would change it now even if I could. I like it.

It is the name of a song by John Lennon but it also illustrates my want/need/longing for the truth.... What ever that might be.
