Iran says it built nuclear plant in mountain, near military base, to shield it from air attack

When i read stories like this, i think why would they give out this kind of intel publicly?
Im sure the US and whoever else wants to know has gathered their own Intel and already knew its an underground facility, not wait for it to be announced in the media.
Whether it is really in a mountain or not, i think the story is out so we have an excuse to attack on foot.

They would give this info at this particular time for two chief reasons:
a) they collected their own counter intelligence which indicated the Qum site is no secret anymore
b) the timing is such as to make Obama look weak (after all the recent ultimatums the sanctions aren't there, and the Iranians are effectively sticking it to Obama with the second plant which is obviously military purpose).

This issue is getting absolutely ABSURD! I mean are we Americans such mindless zombies stuck in our dancing with the stars stupor we can't even see the forest for the trees anymore! "THEY" WANT WAR! How much more obvious do you want it to be? What the hell do you expect Iran to do? Hey here is nuclear technology that we have the sovereign right to acquire and we are going to display it out in the open desert so you can blow all our hard work and money to smitherines???????????????????????????? No wonder our country is going to hell in a hand basket when the average American is so brainwashed and so STUPID!

Look people the West needs to understand that Iran is going to get nuclear weapons and the greater middle east is going to get nuclear weapons one way or another. We are going to have to learn to deal with it diplomatically or we will end up having to take on the entire midd east and fight everyone from Iran to Pakistan to Syria. Israel has to deal with this crap on its own. Let's not pretend jews are the little innocent 1950's victims anymore. They have a VERY big foot print around most of the world these days. What the US NEEDS to do is quit meddling our nose in every f'ing country and government and natural resource and quit pissing off the rest of the world.

I'm just surprised that with the American Spies in Iran they hadnt learned of this sooner, they only stumbled upon the 2nd Plutonium Enrichment plant by accident from sending up those Drones, Iran admitting they have a Nuclear Plant building weapons is like saying "have a go at us if you dare."

That's a problem, you're already having problems in IRAQ attacking on foot and from AIR, imagine facing 1000x worse on foot in IRAN(Actual trained soldiers, the Islamic republic want to protect there country from invaders, so you would even see civilians turning into domestic military . The terrain depending on where you are can be green or desert unfamiliar territories it's like rushing into a trap that has been set up, think about when thousands of soldiers rushed into Gallipoli, same sort of thing :\

Also, at the exact same time of invasion from ground troops they would attempt to overthrow the government of IRAN but different means, imagine how many covert ops they have working as mullahs...


oh can't forget, how many thousands of American troops are currently in Iraq waiting to be blown up by already well placed bombs and suicide bombers well trained, what you see now in IRAQ is just a taste of what IRAN can do to simply take over a nation of mentally corrupting peoples minds(ie;Teaching them when they die, Allah promises that they'll have 5 woman and all the happiness they could ever want when they die)

Must advise that IRAN is not IRAQ, an IRAQ is not IRAN... two different places but some things are identical, behind the curtains of the main stream truth.

The only fight that should be solved outside of the country is the current fight, ISRAEL | iran, or better known as "middle east peace process", it's clear to most people AFAIK, Iran only gives hamas and all these rebel fighters weapons and money to fight Israel and many other states in Iraq and other places around the world because they are scared for there own protection, imagine having a place like Hawaii threatening the whole of the united states and getting away with it because they "hold" secrets and weapons of mass terror,... same sort of thing happening in Israel/iran right now, just most of the people in the NEWS and reading the news don't understand this


ISRAEL(the holy land), well it shouldn't be this way, i think they misunderstood the holyland(earth) with Israel.

Iran,... i dunno, they have issues that need to be sorted out in there own country that is what it comes down to.



PS: Also note, I'm bashing Israel and united states they have both entered this war/struggle since many years ago, since before the fall of the shah in iran, I'm just stating it's not a fight that the united states can intervene with military style action, the only way they could enter this war/struggle is if ISRAEL takes some sort of military action(which will happen)is already happening*

The US knew where it was. This always boils down to do we let them know that we know? They just didn't want them to know that we knew. So as to be able to maintain the element of surprise. The same things happened during the Cold war. Remember the Soviets and the Americans played this game not for years but for decades.

There's not going to be any US attack on Iran, we're already stuck in two increasingly unpopular conflicts. It would be political suicide for Obama.

Israel might choose to go it alone, but it doesn't make a great deal of sense either. They simply don't have the long-range striking assets to shut down Iran's nuclear program for anything longer than a few months, if that.

No B-2's, no Tomahawks - only fighters that would require refueling over hostile territory to reach their targets and a couple of submarines with a few Popeye Turbo cruise missiles each.

IMO Israel's threats to strike are largely talk.

Iran will be a nuclear power. No doubt about it.
