Well yes i did know that, my point was that as we're talking about whether God may or may not approve of breast ogling, would it not be best to actually know what god thinks before we go saying what he thinks... and by we, i of course mean you.

Whether you believe God spoke through man and then man in turn wrote his own little piece of the bible down, is entirely up to you... there is course is no proof for this whatsoever and even if we were to assume that this was the case.... this book that has all these teachings from god is not the same one which these guys actually wrote down... it has been edited heavily and cannot be cited as a reputable source, in my opinion anyway.

Another good question. We all have our own filters...mine happens to be Christianity while others may be science, politics....etc..

But we don't just have A filter do we?
Yours is not only one filter, a religious filter.
You have many filters...for many different situations.

You wouldn't run every decision or every question through your political filter, the common sense that you probably already have could be just as beneficial?

When I read that a sin is a healthy thing I can't help but pass it through my filter. That is what prompted me to share my opinions on strengthening the body by condemning the soul. I find it to a relevant aspect of the thread. A consideration that some may have overlooked.

Nobody overlooked it because it wasn't the issue.

This was a light-hearted thread about staring at boobs and getting healthy.
I honestly don't think anybody takes it as gospel (excuse the pun) and i don't thin k anybody was being particularly serious about it either..

Not everything has to be under the scrutiny of the biblical microscope.

You posted your response just below mine. It was my assumption that you were speaking of the God of the bible. My apologies. Do you mind sharing with me the God you were referring to?

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending) nobody know what God is or isn't.
So for all our dialogue and however long it may go on for... nothing will change.

You don't know what God is or isn't and neither do i.

I am open to possibilities i guess... and that is where we differ.

Your mind is already made up.... you claim to know what God wants and thinks and whatever.

I am not so presumptuous or so fixed in my thinking.
