I Received a Threat! Received a YouTube Threat over my military video!

If your argument about the 28 states were true then all the pedestrians on the street also could claim that their likeness was used without permission and that they were being wiretapped. As I said already those wiretapping laws do exist but are almost always dropped in court. Youtube is covering their asses, you got that right

I'm not really disagreeing with you. Youtube could use the very argument you present to protect the OP's decision to upload his video, but they have no such desire, nor any such policy. Blaming Youtube here is futile, they are by no means "free press", so really people should not complain when they act contrary to it. In fact, it should be expected, and avoided.

You are arguing on both sides of the pinhead. Essentially you are both correct - but only insofar as defining defining the fine line between the valid argument of why this 'can' be called censorship; and the underlying question whether it 'should' be?

I suspect that it is a matter of physical evidence. Did this constitute a spontaneous 'performance' which has since been regretted by the actor? Or was there no time for the 'performer' to decide not to have this video record?

I think this one is on the line, and should be thoughtfully adjudicated, because frankly, it's a civil win-win. Additionally, it's good PR for the 'provider.'

One is not unreasonable for thinking that their behavior, while a spectacle for those physically approximate to them, is a proper expectation of privacy..., that it's not for global broadcast. I can't fault the complaintant for pursuing it - assuming that is why You Tube made the request of course.

Let's face it - these kinds of civil/legal engagements are often made into a circus of bull crap.

This case should be a study of the response and posture of those we like to refer to as "the law."

By the way, the Governor of Ohio is empowered by her Constitution to call upon his National Guardsmen for such duties. If the movement wishes to discover the reason for their presence they should take the question there. Those poor guys weren't standing in line waving their arms yelling "Pick me! Pick me! I want to stand around a bunch of civilians, many of whom equate m presence with fear!" They are following orders, and they are NOT allowed the privilege of questioning the bigger picture.

Those guys WILL die for us! Always remember that. I am a veteran, and I am telling you, even if I had been instructed to perform such a duty, I would have done so without hesitation. Its called discipline, and its the one thing that makes the military function. Don't disrespect them, please.

It can't be there are loads of other mirrored videos in the related videos section which is easily accessible from my video. They would have been targeted as well and they know once they share it it can be copied and spreaded like weeds, they know it and they accept it otherwise they would have told us no.

This complaint came from an anonymous person so we don't really know who ordered it to go down, it could be an ACORN member!

Judging from the time-hack I suspected it was the round-faced MP doing the 'talking.' I think people expect them to be more or less clueless. But he seemed clear on his orders and how to do his job.

This is the proof, No need to take down my posts because I did not slander the president, I went only by what I have seen, what I heard, and what I know. I heard these recordings, I even did a test and found the evidence to be positively correct.

Test it yourselves! if you want the real answer! You can use audacity or other programs that can put a recording in reverse.

i also understand your anger over what you deem as censorship (which is plausible) by tptb. notwithstanding, there are many others under different screen names that have the very same video. someone else owns this video and may have taken the copyright angle. or it might just be the ptb, if, in fact, you own the rights to this video and they want it shut down.

you could subscribe to the others having the same exact video and send them a personal message asking if they received the same notification as you.

Why should this guy care if he's on Youtube when his pretty picture is recorded on databanks all across the land from CCTV recordings, his personal information is stored and at a lick of a button the government could find out his bank details, what he bought last week, where he bought it, and what car he drives and what colour.
CCTV incidentally is even publically accessible if you want to see what there recording of you, this guy needs to seriously stop tripping out over Youtube video's of him and see the bigger picture.

Hey Guess What! because of enough resistance, enough of people mirroring it and threatening to remirror the video and people downloading offline copies of them, and video responses as well which adds weight to the video youtube decided the video I'm mirroring is not worth the trouble and decided not to remove it either that or the liar that claimed there was a privacy violation got caught during the complaint process.

So I WIN!!!!!! This time! And I'm going to have to be more careful of where I share my videos unless I want to go down fighting censorship all the way.
