It seems that there is light at the end of the tunnel, up to about a week ago i thought the lisbon treaty would pass second time around, even though im voting NO! I was just talking to my neighbour, and he told me that the yes camp is starting to slide, i came in doors and checked it out for myself.. And to much avail!

An opinion poll shows that there has been a drop in public support for the Lisbon Treaty. 46% of those polled are in favour of the Treaty, this is an 8 point fall since the last Irish Times/TNS mrbi poll in May.

The Irish Times poll shows that 29% say they will vote No. This is an increase of just one point. The margins may worry some because at this point before the first Lisbon Referendum, the 'yes' side was even further ahead and went on to lose.

www.rte.ie...

They have really made us suffer in Ireland this last year, no work, 100's losing there jobs every day, including me! And that fat f**k Borosso had the cheek to say "if the Irish voted yes the first time around, they wouldnt be in this mess".

Role on Oct 2nd.. We're gonna put these fat pigs in there place..

Good!

You Irish, tell them where to shove their treaty!

Some reasons you object to said Treaty would be helpful in understanding your point of view. I've no horse in this race other than the simple curiosity of an Irish-American, with little to no knowledge of what this would mean for Ireland.
