I always wanted to be named 'Tom' ...

Hmmmm....I grew up with the name "Tim".... and thought I was somehow weird....because everyone else had a "cooler" name...like "Mike" or "Steve"....or "Dick" (OK...not that cool, lots of jokes there...but, Hey!! I was a kid!!)

Man, I would have given a finger to be named 'Tim.' Instead I got teased about argonauts. You know how traumatic that is? Geez.

Oh, we had this family down the street...the Greens...one of the guys was named Peter. The poor sap. Every six weeks on report cards, he was 'Green, Peter.' Poor dude.

Funny, about names....this is a true story.

Friend of mine used to work at a bank. In Arizona. Phoenix.

One morning, when the drive-up window was open....he overheard a colleague (fairly young and naive girl) interact with a customer.

She was from the Midwest...and not real familiar with Hispanic names...

So, my friend hears her say...."Hey, Jesus! Got any ID?"

The obvious wags in the bank said...."Tell him to hold up his palms..."

If it wasn't true, it wouldn't be so funny.......

I gotta say Dr Love...it's just an awesome name.
