The radical right, aided by a GOP Noise Machine that positively dwarfs what existed in 1963, has turned demonizing Obama--making him into a vile object of disgust--into a crusade. It's a demented national jihad, the likes of which this country has not seen in modern times.

Now this is just a blog. An opinion piece. I'm not clear on some of the T&C but I thought this was important. It demonizes right-wing conservatives.

They've done the hope and change bit.

They've played the "It's Bush's fault," card.

They've played the race card.

Now, they're comparing conservative criticism to Obama's policies to the Kennedy assassination?

What in the heck are they going to try to pull next? We are still sitting at the table, waiting for honest debate on their (Obama's) extreme left policies.

Healthcare.
Cap and trade.
Afghanistan.
CIA probes.
Unemployment.
Cash for clunkers.
Higher taxes.

And instead of reasoned debate, we get this. We ask about costs, CBO figures? We get called racist, hater, etc.

Will someone PLEASE call their parents? These kids need to go home!!!

Lets find some grown-ups to run the country. These morons are making a mess of it.

I'm afraid to ask what they'll do next. Start comparing conservatives to Pontius Pilate?

Hitler?

Oh wait, they've already done that.

Sadly most committed Republicans seem hell bent on behaving like they should be committed.

In regards to the title his life course proves that Oswald was too muddled to really have any coherent political ideology...he swung wildly and there is some evidence that he was a government plant in the American Communist party...the Soviets certainly thought so but came to the conclusion that he was a simpleton.

Thanks for your reply. Visiting hours at the asylum are M-F 10 am to 2 pm.

It's not the republicans that are talking this crazy talk though.

It's your buddies in the far left corner.

ps, if you're going to visit, bring gummy bears.

They all are crazy as bedbugs...actually I have never met a crazy bedbug...or a sane on for that matter.

BTW the pundits are not the administration they just think their opinions are news.

And you have to admit the hard right rhetoric since Obama got elected has gotten increasingly hysterical which has been known to get loose wingnuts all fired up and dangerous.

Don't jump the gun. They'll be calling us crazy bedbugs soon enough, after this Oswald silliness.

I wake up in the morning looking forward (with some trepidation) to see what they are going to call us, accuse us of, next.

Maybe I'm wrong, but did the conservatives ever accuse the left-wingers of any of this? Did they ever play the race card with Powell, Rice, Thomas? Did they ever accuse the death of a president to left-wing ideology?

Mike, have you seen my new thread? Zealot Repubs and Dems are just as bad as the each other. Now if you are speaking about left and right-that is a different story.

The whole problem with both sides is that they know they cannot legally change the constitution. So they go about doing it with Presidential decree and unlawful legislation. If the left or right wants to change the Constitution-more power to them.

As of now, I have had it with this government. How many laws are there. 100k 200k 300k I don't know, do you?

I am a right wing fanatic, terrorist, tea-bagger, Nazi, etc etc etc. I am sick of it. We all should be. These son of bitches like Pelozi should be removed from office. I will back any Dem or left winger in putting Bush behind bars after a fair trial. Will they say the same for Obama, with his Rule of Law Speech, where he practically wiped his ass with the Constitution.

Saw your thread, just posted.

I think we've reached the point of stupidity and then went even further.

The outlandish accusations are just going to get worse. This president has been in office for 8 months now. What do we have to look forward to, in a years time? Two years?

I think a lot of folks in the Democratic party are starting to resemble a wounded animal that's been backed into a corner. All it knows how to do is foam at the mouth and lash out and attack anything and everything around it

That's actually a great analogy. What worries me is the amout of rhetoric that's going on now, and it's still early in this administration.

What are they going to do/say next month?

Ya man, but recall the "bailing out" the newspapers thread?

You stated in your OP that Obama was going to bailout the newspapers which was not the implication of the proposed legislation, the implication was much different...

Point is you said it and the posts flooded in regarding Obama bailing out the newspapers, I don't think that OP helps the situation you are denouncing now.

Just saying -

Jesus Christ.

If I saw this in a newspaper and not just a blog, I'd swear the puppet masters were lining up the whole conservative party as patsies.

Oswald-type patsies. This is a conspiracy site - we should all see a conspiracy building here. This country is on high alert, on the verge of ripping itself apart; blame is being assigned; guilt is being designated.

Is this the next false flag? The guilty have been assigned - the party as a WHOLE. Not individuals, but a whole party. Doesn't that strike anyone else as being insanely convenient?

Talk about being moved around the chess board. The real powers fund both sides of EVERY war; civil wars are no exception. North and South, Left or Right, we're being played.

God help us. If we can't see it for what it is, we probably deserve no less.

Actually, YOU are to blame (partially) for that thread. By restructuring the tax base for the media outlets, you gave me the insight to think a little more critically and discover that it may be part of a plan to sneak in the components of "the fairness doctrine."
So, your fault.

haha.

My "job" is to illustrate the absurdity that is occuring in Washington. Be it left, right, down the middle. This latest slur against the conservatives only shows the desparation that those on the left are feeling.

Nowhere else are you going to get information like this. Be it against the left, the right. What you do with the information, is entirely up to you.

I didn't see it as a "flag" event or a set up.

But you're right. We are being set up. They have already placed blame.

Sickening, if you ask me.

republican vitriol = free speech
democractic vitriol = communist, socialist, out-of-line and un-american speech.

no problem, nothing here to see, move along now.

Keep the red ones, I like the white ones. (does that make me a racist?)

They can't argue on merit alone, because they have no basis for it. We throw the facts THAT THEY GAVE US right back at 'em and they deny saying it in the first place.

ie; numbers of uninsured. CBO numbers on economy, unemployment.

It is the democrats that are saying this.

I see your sarcasm, it's dripping off my computer as we speak. (or was it my dog? I left the room for a moment to get a soda.)

It was not the right-wing that called people speaking out, domestic terrorists.
It was not the right-wing that started using the race card.
It was not the right-wing that compared protesters to Nazi's.

It has been left-wing vitriol.

I always knew my"white" side would gain control. It's just beating down my black side.

Can I get ACORN or Project Rainbow to protest me? I'm repressing me. I hate me. But I love me to, because I need forgiveness from me. Why won't I just sit down with me, possibly have a beer with the president and me, why can't me just get along?

It's because I'm a right-wing hater. A Lee Harvey Hater of people like me.

if its any consolation I hate and love you too!!

Im on the phone to reach Rev. Jackson as I type, I have many, many, hands.

when I get through you'll know. As for the beer with Obama...I heard he gets a lil touchy feely....just a warning. Damn, they transferred me to Rev. Wright again. You'd think with all the money we funnel to left wing hate groups they would be able to hire a decent operator.
