This piece of drug addicted, walking fecal matter has been just waiting for this type of environment to come out of the racist closet and spew his ignorant, garbage.
The republicans goal is to bring back the, "good ole days", where blacks knew their place.....Please note for those who didn't get my sarcasm. I am in no way endorsing "the good ole days", I'm suggesting that the racist republicans that support rush, considered segregation and slavery, "the good ole days". Just wanted to make that PERFECTLY clear.

The best thing we can do is to write letters to his sponsors stating we will boycot their products, their services, etc.... until they stop buying advertising on rushs' show. Rush has the right to speak but he does not have the right to speak on the radio or tv. We need to send a message to him and those who support him that their behavior is not acceptable and will not be tolerated nor supported.

Rush has always been racist. Look at what he said about Donovan McNabb a few years ago. Rush continues to prove how ignorant he is.

Get real. What did Rush say that was so offensive"

Limbaugh was working this angle Sunday when he made the comments that cut his football career short. He said that Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb, off to a rough start this year, had actually never been that good in the first place. The three-time Pro Bowler who was having an MVP-type season last year before he got hurt had been overrated by the media in a sort of affirmative action move: "I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL," Limbaugh said. "The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve."

McNabb is a loser. He was protected because of his skin color. Admit it.

Republicans are republicans.

I've actually done some freelance work in the football world, mostly relating to statistical analysis of players and prospects, and the subjective analysis of the same.

McNabb is a very, very good QB. If his next few seasons are solid, then he's a Hall of Famer. Is he a Favre/Manning/Marino/Elway type? No. Is he the next level down? Yes.

Is he hated on because of his skin color? No. He's hated on because he plays in a city that drove Reggie-friggin-White out of town. Eagles fans couldn't identify a good player from a bad player to save their lives. And even when they do identify a good player, they still alienate him. Now Vick is in town, and I'm already hearing people cry for Vick to take over for McNabb. Vick couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a football, if he were standing twenty feet away. Advanced metrics show that he actually made the Falcons worse than they were -- and that was before he spent two years in prison. Sure, Vick can run, but he is not the running back. He's the QB, and his primary job is to read a defense, go through his progressions, and throw accurate passes. He can't do any of those things. Meanwhile, McNabb has played at a Pro-Bowl level for nearly a decade, and led his team to four consecutive NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl appearance.

It's like some sort of perversion that Eagles fans have. Watch the 2010 NFL Draft. I'd give it a 40% chance that Eagles fans boo their first-round pick.

So, I'm sure that ATSers who happen to be Eagles fans aren't this stupid, but Eagles fans, in general, are idiots who couldn't do real player evaluation to save their lives.

Finally, I want to point out that McNabb is NOT(!!!) the first black QB to do well. Warren Moon was one of the most prolific passers ever, and he's in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. And if the "bleeding heart liberals" really paid attention to the NFL, then they'd be all over his story. But Rush wouldn't know this, because he's a political pundit, rather than a sports pundit (neither of which is better or worse than the other, IMO).

Furthermore, the argument that he gets by on skin color might get you somewhere in the college ranks -- but not in the NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL/etc. In the college ranks, the most important thing is to keep the boosters happy. In the NFL (and other major pro leagues) the most important thing is to win. Placing inferior players on the field for the sake of Political Correctness is not conducive to winning; and is therefore not conducive to the Head Coach and General Manager being allowed to keep their very lucrative jobs. This is why black coaches are so much more common in the NFL than in the NCAA -- the NFL cares about wins and losses, not boosters.

Duh!!!

[/end tangent]

You may be wondering how any of that was relevant. Here's why it's relevant: Rush tends to run of at the mouth, on subject matter which he is not even remotely qualified to speak on; and he does it without consulting the opinions of those who are qualified. No right-or-left-wing ideologue seems to do this as frequently as Rush does it.

Back to political issues...

i think that the main point is that racism as it is now known is something that is inherent in many people, and the modern day witch hunts are aimed at people who are labeled as racist, i have no hatred towards any nationality or colour, but i am what people would label a racist, i recognise that there are different races, iam however not racialy predjudiced. as a white english man i suffer the label of being a white sexist racist pig, oh and the fact that i am english or "british" automaticaly makes me an racist football hooligan, i do not like or watch football.
black people/coloured people segregate themselves, as do islamic people and jewish people, and white people, we all live in groups of our own kind so that we feel comfortable and do not feel threatened by cultures that we don't understand. we are all racist by our own standards. we are told by the media and governing bodies to recognise the cultures of ethnics and religious casts, whilst our own culture [english] is side lined and treated as a thing of shame, slowly but surely we, the english, are losing our national identity, the more that they push the more resentful we become. i can see through the hype but unfortunately the average british person cannot and their anger is aimed at the wrong people instead of the media and government.

we should never go back to segregation but our different cultures should try harder to accept each other and learn to accept racism, not to demonise it.

remember, positive racism is still racism.

I reviewed my post and the reality is that my mistake was indeed painting too broad a stroke as you've indicated....I completely agree and my bad.
My statement should have more specifically targeted those republicans who are creating an air or racism and not all republicans are involved in bringing back, "the good ole days". In fact my mistake in generalizing goes even further as I support Ron Paul-A republican and non-racist.
My apologies for generalizing...
BAD JFJ BAD !!!

I however will stick by my statement that rush is a drug addicted, ignorant racist that is backed by many in the republican party and WE THE PEOPLE, should protest until rush is removed from the air and given a job more appropriate for his intellect.....rush should asking, "would you like fries with that?".

How is it hate to want white kids to be able to ride the bus without being attacked by a gang of thugs? I can't imagine the outrage, investigations and protests if it were a black kid who got attacked, while a white mob cheered.

Could someone please educate this stupid person about Rosa Parks, who was the first black person to insist on her rights in an American bus.

Does this stupid person know absolutely nothing?

Probably.

The problem is Rush didn't do what the thread title claims. Most all of you are posting reactionary, uninformed posts based on your MSM generated hatred for Rush.

Most of you seem happy to be blissfully ignorant though.

Entitled much? Your post would suggest there are no whites facing the same problems. The only difference is whites don't try and use their race as an excuse.

When I see stats tossed about like this...i can't help but ask...

What is the amount of White on White crime compared to White on Black?
And why aren't our White leaders speaking up and admonishing us for acting criminally toward other white people....as if acting criminally toward another race is more acceptable???

Rev. Sharpton hasn't denounced violence? I don't listen to his sermons...DO YOU? because that would suprise me. Where are you getting your "information"? Just curious.

Kind of revealing.

Yes it is. Very revealing about you that is and your parroting of hate group rhetoric.

Crime is a function of economics or mental illness
...always has been and always will be.

Your response and overall comprehension of my post is so way outside the bounds of ignorance, that its probably not worth my time to respond.

Yes it is. Very revealing about you that is and your parroting of hate group rhetoric.

I stated how sad it is that Black on Black crime is 5 times the rate of other Race on Race crime. Its just a fact. It has nothing to do with hate rhetoric. If you're staring in the mirror and you see a pimple, it's still a pimple, not a 'beauty mark'. Your ignorance prevents you from recognizing and differentiating sadness from hate rhetoric. I suppose this attitude wins you many friends and supporters....

Crime is a function of economics or mental illness
...always has been and always will be.

Crime is also a CHOICE. If human beings were operating under your beliefs, no one would have to take responsibility for their actions because they could blame it on economics? Terrible argument.

If only we could spot the next Jefferey Dahmer or Madoff by the color of their skin...

More victim like thinking. Wake up dude. We have a black president who was able to rise above all the arguments you make to become the elected leader of a nation. He even dispelled beliefs the many in the black community held dearly to, that a black person can't succeed in America. The argument u are proposing is so terribly presented, that it barely demands a response. Its not even factual on top of that.

...next.

Rush from today. He basically says what many of us here already tried to explain.

By the way, here is the entire segment in question for context. Its obvious that hes being sarcastic to prove a point. Hes not actually calling for the return of segregation. Not to mention he said it should be done to protect the black students from the "inherently racist whites". If he did, half his audience would disappear, including me. I would never, ever support any sort of racial bigotry like that. Unlike a lot of people, I actually beleive in equality and judging a man by his character.

www.rushlimbaugh.com...

RUSH: During the break Mr. Snerdley showed me a website that a friend of his had alerted him to. Apparently it has taken hold out there that when discussing Obama's America as it relates to the school bus incident -- where was that? That was in Belleville, right? Belleville, Illinois -- playing off the Newsweek story of, you know, all white kids are born racists. I did a whole routine here on, "Well, maybe we need to segregate the buses and so forth," in a joking fashion. And this guy at the Southern Poverty Law Center, this Mark Plotkin... Is that his name? What...? Mark Potok. Mark Potok says that I want segregate buses!

I remember the spectacle of McNabb puking during the SuperBowl against the Pats. He was hung over. No discipline.

There was/is a great push to be PC in the NFL, esp. with head coaches and qb's. Unstated quotas needed to be met.

Rush's words were spot on, imo:

"The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve."

Thanks for posting those vids, Wimbly.

Unfortunately, Rush's wit and sarcasm will still escape many. You can bet that next week, next year, he will still be accused of calling for segregated school buses.

The gullibility of many people never ceases to amaze me.
