Getting dicey folks. We're all getting pretty distracted by Healthcare debates and Congressmen shouting at Presidents. Something is cooking and I think it's about 'Go Time.'

US warns Iran is nearing nuclear capabilities
US voices bomb fears as Iran submits nuclear proposals
Ahmadinejad defiant as nuclear watchdog chief laments 'stalemate'
Russian report: Netanyahu may be planning attack
Israel admits Binyamin Netanyahu's secret trip to Moscow

(Thank ALL of you OPs for your efforts on these)

These are just a FEW of the issues raised in the last two days. The propaganda machine is spinning incredibly fast and it's all coming together. Everything that is not already IN place is falling there very quickly.

They have been primping the US people for this for six or seven years now, at least. Today they are emphasizing the presence of an Iranian-made stockpile of weapons including 'roadside bombs.' The deliberate use of these terms together is meant for one purpose only, as far as I'm concerned.

'STOCKPILE of IRANIAN-MADE weapons, including ROADSIDE BOMBS.'

Time for the preemptive strike.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I have been noticing this for a little while now. It's really starting to heat up. They are going to start the big push for the 'removal' of this evil dictatorship from power so we can protect ourselves and the good people of Iran. I wonder how many hundreds of thousands of innocent Iranians will end up dead from this 'rescue' mission?

Thanks for giving my thread(s) a mention there. I too have noticed the news has had a larger number of stories about the Iran nuclear issue than normal, that's why I posted a couple of stories about that.

Anytime they start a big push like this in the news, I always wonder if they are trying to soften us up and sell us on a war. We know for sure they operated that way for the IRAQ war, for example Operation Mass Appeal, and we should be on the look out for it again.

what I notice : congress is not doing its stated reason for being .
the paying of fedaral bills .

I suspect they need the middle east as a distraction , tradeing the lives there for time , with out the slightest concern or idea how bad this will get .

when the middle east pulls press attention over seas , they can work in the media shadow to do bad things domesticly .

Russia has already started invading Canada via the N. Pole! Oil Reserves up there you know! Anywhere there is oil, there will soon be war!

I don't think it will be us that bombs Iran. It will be Israel, and then we will only serve to temper the Russian response.

However, since Obama doesn't support Israel too much, and since Netanyahu seems to be in cahoots with Medvedev, the US might be the victim of our own world politics! Imagine, Israel initiates a False Flag against the US blamed on Iran, via the Arctic Sea smuggling op! Then the US retaliates on Iran who immediately follow through on promises to retaliate against Israel, and Israel can wage full-scale war!!

Now, in that scenario, Israel gets exactly what they want, the US support agains Iran, they get to look like victims as usual, and Russia gets to sell lots of weapons to both sides!! The US is again the big Dummy caught up in a World Conflict we don't belong in!

Just a thought...a fictional motivational speech. If they use it, I win the donuts.

"After eight long years, our valiant intelligence services have uncovered the needed evidence to establish, without a doubt, the REAL perpetrators behind the terrorist attacks on American soil on THIS DAY eight years ago. We have learned that both Al Qaeda and the Taliban are covert branches of the extremist Iranian
regime. This morning, at nine o'clock New York time, a coalition of American, U.K., and Israeli military forces have executed preemptive strikes on twenty four command and control structures within Iran. We are resolute in
our desire for justice against ANY nation that would perpetrate such callous acts against the United States or her citizens. We will bring these people to justice, regardless of the cost. We owe this to our brave brothers and sisters who gave their lives on that fateful day. God Bless our troops and God Bless America!'

....just sayin'....

Just a thought, but when did cruise missiles fired from our naval ships become more expensive than our American Soldiers on the ground? Aren't the soldiers supposed to be there to occupy after the real damage was already done by our ships and missiles?

When we starting owing our souls to Japan and China!! It takes a lot of BJ's to foreign dignitaries to pay for high tech weaponry, but it just takes a risque billboard, and a short power outage to get us making more soldiers!!

We could always send those weapons back to them. They make them all for us anyway. I think they even have a pretty efficient delivery system aboard! haha.

It seemed to happen around 'Bush-thirty.' I seem to remember Clinton using the HELL out of Tomahawks. I really don't think there is ANY justification for having boots on the ground ANYwhere these days. Between UAVs and 'Reach out and Touch Someone' weapons systems, we are uselessly wasting lives of American citizens.

Iran is far from beeing able to build nuclear bombs, and they never will since they signed the Non-Proliferation- treaty years ago, while the US and ISrael NEVER have. Iran is not a threat to anybody.

Nice that all your "sources" are from the MSM (mainly AP)

And IF they were planning to launch a nuke why would they even care about some signed piece of paper?

If you think just because a country signs some agreenment that means they will never go against that then you need to open your eyes.

anyway its not iran we should be scared of.... its isreal because they are the ones who have given iran a deadline to disarm otherwise isreal will forcefully disarm them themselves.

That's sort of the POINT, my friend. I know Iran doesn't have Nukes. You know Iran doesn't have nukes. MSM probably knows Iran doesn't have nukes. What they want us to BELIEVE is that Iran is evil. Plain and simple. The MSM has been inundated in the last few days with so many accounts of Iran being 'stubborn' or 'supplying weapons' to the Taliban. There is a concerted, OBVIOUS attempt to spin a story for the American people that Iran is the bad guy.

It's the same weak crap they used for Iraq and it's non-existent WMDs.

Sorry my point wasn't very clear.
