kidnapped airplane with 104 passengers in Mexico city's airport RIGHT NOW

This is not over. Several coming off plane in cuffs, but why are the crew members still onboard? Is there another threat still happening that is not being reported ? At least 6-7 arrested so far, uncomfirmed that they are Bolivian.

Check your info, apparently the whole thing is over. There hasn't been a hijacking for many years, since 9/11 I believe. This has got to be one of the stupidest ways to get your message (of terror) across anymore.

That the President is slated to arrive, is the most bizzare part of this really. What official word has been given? If it is over then why his arrival?

did they just say that? cnn said the pres would be returning home, and they also said that everyone, including crew, has left the plane.

All passengers are off the plane and the president is NOT going to the airport....as we speak the airplane is being dragged off the runway.....

They have taken 7 or 8 people into custody and the Mexican Federal police were involved....and they have the place encircled where they took them...

Its been over for at least 15 minutes. The hijackers are in custody and it is believed they are bolivian asylum seekers no bombs or other arms found as of yet. Is your "live" tv delayed or something.

Official authorities are NOT giving official messages about.

All they are saying is that the situation is under control and in half hour they will give a press conference

Could be a warning pre 9 11 for whatever reason, as they kept commenting on how close this "hijacking" was to that one.

Really, I'm thinking that there was a smartass passenger and the steward overreacted ( or reacted to what they thought was a real threat) and the whole situation snowballed. Can't say bomb on a plane, ya know. The security was probably called out to save face after they called in a hijacking, I doubt those people even made any demands.

A passenger just went on air via phone saying that everything was calm on the plane, but he did notice the leader of the hijackers walking up and down the plane the whole time...he also said that he could tell he was with people since they boarded the plane....

He also said that one of the men that was standing up on the plane was holding something in his hand....

The passenger also said that he didn't hear their accents when they talked to eachother.....

They are testing to bombs rightnow....a man in a suite went up to bags that the men had to test for bombs

Well, there it is

Now specialist in explosives maded blow up the possible bomb in the highjacker carriage.

I don't have TV nor do I have any TV in a different language.

I would love a play by play if anything more develops, and my thanks again.

This is a strange situation, I am glad nobody has been hurt though. More security around 9/11 doesn't seem like a bad idea either, I see no downside here so far.

From what I gleamed from FOX and MSNBC...the plane landed, and the first condition was to talk to President Calderon'. The negotiators managed to get the passengers unloaded. The only people left were the flight crew. When Mexican Special Forces made entry, NO ONE put up a fight and it ended in the best way possible. NO ONE GOT HURT.
