Backyard Bigfoot: gorilla-like creature photographed in Kentucky garden

www.t elegraph.co.uk

While flicking through images of rabbits and deer, Kenny Mahoney noticed a dark, humanoid creature that does not look like any of the southern US state's known native species.

The mystery animal's head appears too small for it to be a bear, leaving Mr Mahoney wondering whether he had accidentally captured one of the clearest ever photos of Bigfoot.

As they say in the news article, the picture is a bit blurry, but interesting anyway.

According to the wave3 story, they've had an animal expert look at the picture, and they think it is fur and an animal at least:

Mahoney's wife Margaret sent the photo to a wildlife expert who specializes in black bears. She said it looks like it is fur and not a trash bag, but still cannot confirm it is a bear.

It seems like there have been a few sightings of Bigfoot lately. I really wonder if the Bigfoot exists, it wouldn't surprise me at all if there are animals we haven't yet fully discovered, especially out in mountain or forest areas. I wonder, if the Bigfoot exists, how will climate change effect it?

What do you think of Bigfoot stories? It's s shame this new sighting doesn't have any film or clearer pictures, but it's always fun to think about hidden creatures!

Wow....that's actually a pretty good photo....the one on the bottom, at least.

It almost looks like the creature is sitting down with it's arms resting on it's knees. Very interesting.

I saw a news story on this yesterday. In the interview with the owner of the camera, he said that he can not speculate as to what it is; however, he said it could be a trash bag...I tend to lean towards that explanation. I do believe that the possibility of a Bigfoot exists; but, I do not think this is it. But who knows, I could be wrong.

Just my 2-cents

It looks like a gorilla, regardless, I want a backyard bigfoot of my own.

Peace

Kinda hard to speculate on what it is when theres no detail... how they decided they can see fur I do not know... all I see is a black smudge, I could certainly think it a trash bag

I hate to be the wet blanket... but it looks to me like a crow or duck caught in flight with its wings swept forward...

Interesting photos.
I really cant tell what it is but I don't think it looks like a trash bag... That would have to be one huge trash bag. I mean, if it was a trash bag wouldnt there be more than one photo of it as it was blowing around and getting stuck?

It could very well be a small bird flying close to the camera. I would definitely put out some Jack Links® beef jerky and a few more cameras, maybe get some video.

So not only do we have big foot and dogmen roaming in the forest, we now have giant Crows!!! This is frightening, I am never going camping ever again.

Ok that was a joke................ You cannot tell the size of whatever it is, would be interesting to see the pictures of bears, rabbits etc. that he got from the same camera if in the same spot. Just to gage the size of the "crow" , garbage bag" , "bigfoot", "gorilla" or whatever it is.

Ok, I'm in Kentucky. Where was this thing supposed to have been seen? What part of Kentucky? Sorry to say it, but the pic is crap.

I hope it's close by! I'm a girl, but I don't have a healthy sense of fear and I'd gladly try to go hunt it down! Of course, I'd just take it's pic. I wouldn't want to hurt it. I'd love to have Bigfoot living near me!

Hey, TheAmused.... wanna go look for Bigfoot?

Daaaarrrrnnnnn !!!!!

I was really excited about this one until I viewed the pics...why do pictures of Bigfoot, giant crows, chupacabbra, and ETs always have to be such poor quality ?!?!

Still...nice post...S&F for you...

BTW...AlterEgo...assuming that you're joking...LOL !!! Brilliant !!! Looks like my long, lost rubber-duckie !!!

Well, they must have removed it because the only picture I see is the top one with the blurry brown image. I believe it's possible there is a bigfoot, but this one doesn't convince me.

In the words of Mitch Hedberg. I think Bigfoot is blurry and that's the problem. That's way more scary to me, a large out of focus monster.

Its a bird. Take a look at the uncropped image. To me it looks like a black bird, (a crow maybe) that was caught mid flap as it took off from the ground.

Hey Folks!
We have the Winner right here!

You called it man!

Alter-Ego has "the eye".

This guy nailed it way back on 10/9/09!

And, we didn't even have to pay a big fancy lab.

I should have known ATS would have already discussed this Bluegrass Bigfoot, and of course, solved the mystery to boot. I bet MonsterQuest reads our forums.

I live in KY too, and just finished watching this program. First I heard of a Bigfoot in my neck of the woods. I am definitely going to be researching this local legend.
