Fraud? How so the initial broadcast mentioned that it was a performance piece several times during the initial broadcast.

My point is, its clever, and intentional or not, the disclaimer is there, thus the credibility was not damaged.

People just jump the gun. This article has sparked discussion, and discussion is vital to our society.

Thats not "getting picked up", thats paying to submit articles and news stories to the various news sites, and anyone can do that.

They probably got desperate because no one was picking it up and decided to pay for its submission to say "Aha! See its working".

Really, It was " questionably " misrepresented for an hour (I for one mistook it as real and discussed it with friends) until a disclaimer was added (an hour or so later).

Jones posted the Literary work of Sheen (sort of like what happened with War of the Worlds). If the delay of the disclaimer was intentional or not, is the question. But it is irrelevant. Because it is not a hoax, it's a very strong literary tactic used with a very powerful essay.

Thus, Sheen's piece is not a hoax. Sheen wrote it and wants the meeting to take place. His writing is what he hopes to occur. How can someone's literary work be considering damaging to their credibility.


Think about WAR OF THE WORLDS for reference of what occurred with this article. In retrospect it's genius really.

A simple understanding of Radio's past would allow the reader/listener to understand what went on here. After a day to think about, I applaud their efforts. It's sad that so many miss out on the possible impact.

Agree completely. They certainly corrected their error. The folks who insist upon calling it intentional disinfo appear to have a different agenda and they clearly 'distract' from the message ... which is to present facts on what actually happened on 911 and to counter the actual 'disinfo' coming from the MSM. I always wonder why folks would wish to distract from an actual message .... kind of like trying to hide the message in vituperous rhetoric.

In any case, I still regard all of those posts vilifying Jones as having the effect to distract from the message. And unfair. And bear in mind that I am not an AJ groupie. But I am one of the original members of STJ911 and getting the message out to folks is important, particularly as recognizing that truth leads one to question the entire obscene edifice of the PTB.

the fact is alex used a method of marketing to get idiots to click and red a STORY thinking it was fact.. why? because he is full of # or his little game he plays ran out of steam.. i have seen a lot of great posts on here about 9/11 and not one stooped as low as to deceive the pubic in this manner and if he can LIE like this i question all his past motives

and be for you call me a hater i use to tune in to his shows until i seen him LIE about cooper that is ALL over youtube.. the man is egocentric and loves him self and the nwo because without it he wuold be NOTHING

In this case people were told that something monumental was going to happen and nothing did.

what are you on. jones made a public proclamation claiming the greatest interview of his 13 years or whatever. if the greatest thing he has done in 13 years is an outright fabrication i hate to think what the other stories he has done in those years have been. jesus wake up already.

He led people TO THIS LIE and trumpeted it as if it was something noteworthy.
Only to suspend people for a while to get his INTERNET AUDIENCE to drum up the story on the net.
At that point the damage was done.
Because now everyone had to backtrack and has become canon fodder for the MSM who WILL rip this to shreds.

He has done irreparable harm to the movement. Mark my words.

I'm comparing the Sheen article to the War of the Worlds broadcast. The tact of the listener/ reader believing it to be real, despite both being art.

In that, both were misconceived as real, despite disclaimers... Both had their motives.

War of the Worlds: Either Fun (for Halloween) or a population experiment (according to the conspiracy theory attributed to it).

Sheen's Twenty Minutes with President: Wake up the listener, obtain an interview with the President. Get MSM coverage on the Topic.

Look the deal is that most people nowadays are mentally ill. Some are much worse than others, but I think that is the huge question that needs to be answered. What has caused the mental illness, vaccines are my best guess.

The new normal is to be mentally ill, and those who aren't are often ostracized as the ones who need help. Thank you Alex for finally admitting at least through a spoof hoax that you truly are quite normal.

Well, he failed on all points and to top it all off ended up looking like a dishonest bafoon.

While I've always known Alex Jones was a bit of a jerk, I really thought he was going to have something big. Oh well, I'll just ignore Alex Jones for now on. He basically doesn't exist any more as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully someone with his passion can take his place soon.

While he had plenty of small shreds of credibility prior to this incident (at least in my opinion and the opinion of many others) they are now gone as far as I can tell. He told a blatant and bold-faced lie.

h g wells used his plat form to gage the public on how they would react to an alien invasion that was co-opted by the government..

alex used this tactic based on the hopes and the movement many see as a figurehead only to find out it was a lie

Have you all learned nothing during your time in these forums? Have you not yet learned to read between the lines? The so called "Truth Movement" was a sham from the start. It was created for the very purpose of making honest truth seekers look like nutjobs. Think of it as controlled opposition's inbred cousin.

The official story was concocted for those who are too lazy, too distracted, or too naive to think that our government could actually be so corrupt.

The "Truth Movement" was concocted for two different groups of people.

1: Honest truth seekers who are too smart to fall for the official story.

2: Mindless, loudmouthed rebels who are looking a cause, any cause, that would afford them a chance to express their hatred of authority.

The merging of these two groups insured that the latter would make the former look like a bunch of idiots. Thus negating any chance that the honest truth seekers would ever be taken seriously. Unfortunately, it worked like a charm.

Alex Jones didn't discredit the "Truth Movement" with this little publicity stunt. "Truthers" did a good enough job of discrediting themselves when the movement was still in it's early stages.

Personally, I've never really considered Alex Jones to be anything particularly great. Just a loudmouth with a bullhorn. I've never really been very sure of what to think about him. I certainly think that this little stunt that he pulled was in poor taste. However, I do have a great amount of respect for the information he has brought forth in his documentaries such as "Endgame" and "The Obama Deception". Therefore, I will reserve judgement on this matter until more information is made available.
