i will admit i liked the guy.. but hes full of bs doing what he did to his own members.. i listened to the show after reading and even some guy rang in and said he was disappointed .. and he was a truther.. hes pissed off more people with this scam than he has gained.. fact

I would say Jones is clearing around 2-3million US$ per year after expenses running his little empire. Gives new meaning to the saying "laughing all the way to the bank". If you think for a second this guy is struggling to survive then you have been fooled twice. Based on his site rankings, voracious advertising and products he's rolling in it. It is much like the priest of a megachurch who exits the 25 million dollar church building, is escorted into his Mercedes limo and taken to his mansion. People just don't get it. It's about the MONEY.

Some questions,

I don't know anything about AJ, .

When did he inform people to tune into this program on September 8th?

And what other news could be breaking today, that will get less coverage then it should have gotten in the conspiracy forums, had he not posted this hoax today?


Is he trying to grab attention away from another event?

I don't like the way Alex did this by saying later that it wasn't a real interview but a request and a written dialouge to what Charlie would say to Obama and what Obama would say. But it is the first for Alex in a sense having a mainstream actor actually take the initiative and actually go out and ask for an interview with the president on this topic. It's like if the MSM came out and started to question 9/11 because of evidence from Alex Jones. He knows that by Charlie Sheen doing this it makes him even more famous and increases his exposure more.

To quote Mr Hot Shots SHeen... "enough media manipulation"

Today, Alex Jones Killed the 9/11 truth movement single handedly.

In my opinion, the reason many people are upset about this has nothing to do with:

1) whether or not this was a brilliant move intended to (successfully, probably) get as many people as possible to read the evidence cited in the otherwise fictitious interview
2) whether or not one previously placed any stock in or attributed any credence to anything Alex Jones said or espoused
3) whether or not one is capable of seeing or acknowledging how this might create impetus or support for such an interview (or at least the perception of the appropriateness of such an interview) to actually occur
or 4) whether or not in the end, more people become enlightened about the aforementioned evidence cited in the otherwise fictitious interview

People are fully capable of recognizing all of the above potential, while still disagreeing with, being offended by, and expressing dismay about the means by which it may or may not end up being achieved in the final analysis somewhere down the road.

If some of the above comes about as a result of this, I can be pleased about that yet still take major issue with how it was done. If the government lies to me in order to manipulate me and enough of society to affect change that is somehow, in the end, positive, I can be happy about said change without agreeing with the lie.

The two are not mutually exclusive, it is not a black or white discussion, and people who are upset about this stunt are not automatically myopic, unenlightened, or somehow not seeing the forest for the trees.

Just my personal opinion.

Honestly, when I think about it, it seems to stupid to have not been well thought out and intentionally done by AJ,

He would have had to have know the outcome.

He was up to something.

Who else has broadcast something as if it were real - - then later announced it wasn't?

Of course I think "War of the Worlds" did have disclaimers from the beginning.

That was a LOW BLOW and it will affect All OF OUR CREDIBILITY.

To put that out as a Real Interview then have it later have a disclaimer in a very hard to see part of the article is very deceptive.

I sent a complaint in to their Web-Site but they will ignore it. He is gone off his rocker and just ignores any criticism, he is now placing himself in a position where he just ignores people's opinions unless they agree with his own.

I maintain that we have a Sticky of the Web Page as it was Originally seen without the disclaimer until he Apologizes To the Entire Truth Movement.


Alex Jones should first apologize to the family members who lost people on 9/11, he should then apologize to all of those people who are working hard to get the *facts* right and get them out to the masses.

I don't care about Charlie Sheen's fantasy right now. I have my own and mine don't include a meeting with Pres-Obama.

I used to think AJ was crazy.

Then I realized he was right about a lot of things.

Then I realized there was more to the story, and that AJ was hiding as much as he was revealing.

He is a gate-keeper. He works for the Jesuits and the Vatican etc.

Actually it didn't if I remember correctly, that's why people freaked out.

Of course it was rather the opposite of this insomuch as it was something innocuous that freaked people out rather vice versa as in this case.

But the "Sheenanigans" were there.

Jones has lied, but wait, this lie is a good lie, because it was a fight back at them with their own weapons? Is this right Mr Jones?

Even if above were true, that's the very thing that tells them apart from us Mr Jones, we don't lie, we seek truth, we don't spin, we just tell it how it is and lay the collected evidence on the table for people with an open mind to see.

I will NEVER listen to, or watch any of his crap again, because that's all it is now. How could one now trust in this man, how can we look to him and seek the truth? You don't play them at their own lie game Mr Jones, because when you do, you become them.

Your spin of the truth did not work Alex, your attempt at intelligence failed, and it failed because we cannot now tell you apart from the people you say you are fighting.

Jones and InfoCrap died on this day – September 8th 2009. The day he tried to make us all look like fools.

but war of the worlds was not based on the death of 3000 odd people.. This was and it was crass to say the least..

If it's not on the digg or reddit homepage then it's a flop. I bet only couple 1,000 people know about it.. went pfttt! then moved on. People have been submitting the article to social news and it initially got play (10 votes, one got 100 votes) but that was when they thought it was real, now the links have gone dead.

I was struck by how juvenile it felt. To think these guys are grown men. Still.. the fan boys will praise Jones as being a genius (if they accept the truth that they are getting played their heads will explode).

indeed, why not just have charlie say when he gets his so called sit down? Then make it big news? why do it BE FOR knowing very well he wont get to sit down with the POTUS?

because it was a scam in order for his sheep to all log on and read a "story" and that's all it is..

I wanted to post this but you beat me to it!

I have believed for a long time that Alex Jones is working for the very people he claims to be against. Like an Agent Provacature he claims to be in support of the Truth Movement but then severely damages its credibility/image with actions such as falsified interviews.

He stated on a video clip he made that this was the most important thing he has done in his Twelve years of broadcasting. ... and it turns out to be a fictitious interview with the President. If people do not see this for what it is then the entire Truth Movement suffers. He is one of the figure-heads that has his own Radio Show and very prominent Web Site. People that are not already involved with discovering the truth will look at this and my be turned-off completely. If one of the main pushers for disclosure is out pushing fake interviews with movie stars and the President as being the most powerful thing he has ever done then its all for not.

Are we just wasting our time? ... Some would say yes, with people like Alex Jones killing our credibility and hurting the push for truths image.

I agree he should have put the disclaimer up first but in all fairness ATS if anything hurts the credibility of conspiracy theorists every day.

Alien threads, Chupacabra, Bigfoot. Every week there is a new end of the world thread about a date where we are all going to die.

Ats does some good things but it is easily 50% BS. I'm ok with that because its still entertaining but you can get off your high horse saying Alex has ruined your rep. You can blame that on the next reptilian thread or the Enormous Stargate thread Undo made.

I love the Stargate thread but if you even mention half the stuff in that thread they will lock your ass up in a mental institution.

But oh ya Alex Jones has ruined the credibility. If he came out tomorrow and started talking about Stargates, Reptoids or the imposter Paul Mcartney would he get the credibility back with ATS because that is the type of content that gets a traction and respect here.

People generally like to see the top dog fall its always the case its called jealousy and our movement is not above it.

I watch Mixed Martial Arts and no joke among hardcore fans they actually hate the UFC. It doesn't make sense but they do even though the UFC has gotten mma sanctioned in almost every state and opened the doors for other promotions the hardcore fans HATE it. Why is that?
