No, I don't believe AJ is working for the gov, he is sincere imo. I've watched him here locally for years, sometimes throwing popcorn at the screen when he got too far out there, as well as cheering him at times when he fixed a local problem with some of his antics (attention).

This time it looks like he is going all out if I am correct. The plan imo is to bring A LOT of attention to 9/11 and the corruption of our gov. An intense video with him and probably also CS (being picked up in CA) will add MSM qualities to it. TMZ will probably show it, ET tonight, The Tonight Show, Craig Ferguson, Letterman, etc......which will bring it to the attention of many people who have NEVER heard about the flip side of 9/11.

Once again, just my opinion, I might be way off base here.

Seems to me not so many years ago, that there was a brash young reporter who kept trying to break into the "fantastic" news story category with things like "Al Capone's Vault" and the "OJ Simpson" case .... that reporter turned into "Sensationalizing" the news.

That reporter now works for Fox News. You know him as Geraldo Rivera.

Could Alex Jones be the next Geraldo Rivera ?

Does his news really have something "BIG" to say or expose to the world ?

I guess we will all wait to see if this is going to be a HUGE SUCCESS or a BELLY FLOP !

The only possible reason I can see him perpetrating this HOAX is he wants out of his life and doesn't know how to do it.

I notice that the pdf file has the disclaimer on it. As far as I can recall, there was always a link to the pdf file at the Infowars page. Maybe there was an error on the main page somehow.

I hope it does bring light to the subject, but it certainly killed some of my credibility! The story was up for about an hour when I decided to send out a group email to some of my "non-believer" friends and family. I quoted the whole interview, and provided a link to the InfoWars page and the ATS page.

Now, I am back pedalling from questions about the story!!

Luckily, there are some good links and info to back up my personal claims, but this story did not help my argument at all!!

It could have helped, if it was packaged as a sample Questionairre to present to our own politicians!! Those were well founded questions, and good links and info. If this had been packaged as a "Starter Kit" to take to each of our own Representatives and Congress People, then it might have grown some legs, instead of shooting itself in the foot!

I totally agree with you, but, it does not have the punch that he was aiming for. He's always been outrageous in his methods which at times hurts his credibility. I hope he turns it around, apologizes and then starts promoting your idea of starter kits. But, I suspect he won't do it without good vid of him and CS being harassed in some way to take the starter kits to more people. Lol, that's Alex for ya, a little sweet, a little sour, hope your friends understand what a character he is

Then adding a disclaimer 2 hours too late is plain forgery.
And finally the method is to be considered as "commercially phishing with a hoax".
And many fishes were catched.

The only possibility would be that the webmaster published an incomplete preview without knowing.

ok, it was a mistake, in the radio, he is not saying that it was a fact, he is saying that it is an open lettert ... I think it was a mistake ... I wouldnt bash him that much .... really

it appears that ATS isnt researching all the facts, you guys are just pointing that they didnt put the disclaimer in the end ... ok .. but it was a mistake ... really ... this is not A HOAX ... it is a mistake ... it would be a hoax if he wanted to make it look like real

In the internet age, this is entirely unacceptable!! It is clearly a HOAX! Allowing it to stay up for almost two hours without any indication that it was fiction is utter incompetence! How many people (like me) reposted this, or emailed it, or referred to it in good faith, only to find out later that it was a work of fiction??

In two hours time, this page was probably reposted, linked, or quoted thousands of times by people believing it to be a true story. Then, to stay out of any trouble, they go back and add a small disclaimer line!

Then, they begin deleting comments referring to the earlier version, then they shut down the comments completely to save face!?!?!?

I hope people do get linked to ATS, and they do see our responses, so they will get a good account of events this morning, and so they are exposed to a community where fact is more important than popularity!!

If we had seen an apology, I'd believe it was a mistake.
