Let us end this argument.

I COME from a small city. The population was 58. Our closest 'big' city had population of 26,000. It was 'big' because it had a Walmart. The NEXT biggest city was Dallas, population of 2.4m.

That's the digger. Anything that can affect a city of 1m or more will have a major effect on everything around it. If something was going to happen, I'd think the top 50 metropolitan areas would be the targets as the effects of whatever would then chain-react throughout the area.

www.infoplease.com...

Just so happens, Denver's right in the middle of that list.

Now, WARREN, please hear our cries O Mighty Prophet! Any new info?

Perhaps it's their shoddy way of saying 'see it wasn't us'?

Listen ...I'm not insulting your intelligence......But I don't think you " GET" what we are trying to tell you ......

First of all, you contradict yourself and show irrational behavior in regards to what Plucky had to say. It isn't even really that important to the point. Yeah, Denver may be considered to be a major metropolitan area, but as has been stated, it is surrounded by more military bases and places of key interest than most in the US.

Tsk, Tsk... such venom.

I don't think that Warrenb had any intention of coming back to this thread.
As he said, "just passing along this info. Take it or leave it."

That tells me he has nothing more to add really.

Consider for a moment that perhaps he was telling the truth. Why would he divulge sources available to him if that information could be detrimental to the person giving him the info?

It is a leak, if anything. And they are often made by anonymous sources.

Not enough info to call it a hoax.

True but he is online now and must know that this has gone 8 pages in, he could at least expound on what he knows...or leave us hangin' to argue about how big Denver is to some people.

LOL

Consider for a moment if he were telling the truth. We are a suspicious lot by nature. We wouldn't be here otherwise. We are also skeptics. Anyone who was gonna get out of their major metropolitan area would have already done so long ago. The rest of us have perused the forums enough hat we think we can withstand the upcoming zombie invasion with a minimal loss of ammo.

We think something's gonna happen all the time. it was in our nature to question it!

Please read the above with humor in your heart.

A coup would explain such a warning.
Not saying that this is the case...just sayin.

Eww.

Of all the scenarios floating out there, this would be about the worst. Imagine the reaction if there was some kind of coup in Washington. Chaos of a scope and scale that surpasses my ability to fathom.

I honestly think we would be looking at the fall of the United States as we know it.

Fema camps...The one thing I keep asking my self is "If Americans are cash cows to the government, why would the government put us all in a camp, to where they can’t tax us anymore?" This question kinda debunks the Fema camps for me.

It’s a bit funny that Warren posted some info, and the thread was totally high jacked by the size of Denver. Denver is such a large city, it found its way to warrens post. The Broncos suck! Pluckynoonez rides bikes through the streets of Denver like a ninja, PI-YA! In all seriousness, this web site rocks!

$100 that nothing happens. ATSers should know by now that when given a specific time frame to so extravagant event, nothing ... absolutely nothing ever happens.

Someone should create a thread of all the falsehoods of events that have NEVER surfaced.

Russia: Population 140,702,096 that's 281,404,192 number of arms. Assuming all Russians have the correct number of limbs.
America: Population 304,059,724 that's 608,119,448 arms.

If it were truly about the arms, we have a 46.s74% advantage already.

more fabrication. i have a bridge to sell to you. i give it to you for a special price, ok. you see iran gave a dateline and if isreal does not comply then all hell breaks loose. then isreal will attack, then iran will attack and all the metropolitan cities will be offloaded by a biological attack placed by peoples already in the usa at every metropolitan area.. people will spread a deadly case of the h1n1 and we will all get infected and fema will have to lay us all to rest in the fema coffins, because they already know what is going to happen to us in the end. they ought to know, that is why they built them ok. your coffin is comming to a town near you.its true

Thank you, I do ride with the speed of the ancients, and, yes, the Broncos do suck (it is like a state religion here, the Broncos). I made an off-hand comment about this beloved city and a bunch of outsiders are trying to say this and that about my city. Fer shame.

So, warrenb, please enlighten us so we can stop quibbling about how big Denver is. Please tell us so more information about your conversation. Was it a conversation via fact-to-face? email? phone call? smoke signals? We want to know because after 8 pages all we have are google map experts wanting to refute my claim that I ride fast on a bike.

I don't doubt you about your time on the bike, btw.

I can cover quite a considerable distance in the same time. And when you are in town, it can be much quicker than a car.

Did the ancients ride bikes?
