What so bad about Communism and Socialism? It seems like Europe has it better of then America. Quit thinking of Socialism and Communism is an evil, it's very narrow minded to think like that. Who cares if his cousin is a Marxist, another person doesn't automatcally make the other something else. I am in no way defending Obama, but these stupid insults and stuff like this need to stop.

So, there's the rub. The rest is inconsequential till you hit this part which shows this is just another birther post by a minion of Orly Taint. I dislike Obama, and think he shouldn't be president, but for different reasons. Birthers just piss me off. There is no current definition of 'natural born' other than what Orly Taint spouts, some opinion pieces cherry picked from as far back as the late 1790's and early 1800's, and her background is as full of questions as Obamas. In their haste to get rid of the negro in the White House, they are willing to throw the children of our military members, and diplomatic staff under the bus along with him. They wish to bend definitions to their will, and when it comes to a definition that is so important, I can see them as nothing more than traitors to the Constitution of the United States. These people need to be opposed at every turn. Not to defend Obama, but to defend the future of the United States.

Not a single country in Europe is currently Communist/Socialist. Most countries are a good mix of Social Democrat and Conservative. The countries that used to be Communist (Eastern Europe) are very glad Communist squalor is over with.

We never tried to flee those systems, Brittian was just a really stupid monarchy that had to much taxes and had to many rules. What I want you to do, without going to any other website, is to look up the definition, is to tell me the definition of Communism, and Socialism, and also, describe Marxism, to the best of your ability.

I never said I was for or against Communism or Socialism, I was just trying to get the OP to think about his opinions on it, and stop always thinking it's a bad thing. There has to be open mindedness on any subject, not just the ones you want to pick and choose.

Your entitled to your opinion, but be realistic when you say these things if your an American citizen, rise up in heavy support of Communism or Socialism in due time your going to find yourself on the tip of someones pitch fork.

Capitalism far outstrips either system, if the FACT that corruption and theft having robbed the American people (like has happened to every country on Earth regardless of the system) is used to oust Capitalism in time the streets will run red as people realize what they lost...

Anyone who took the time to rear their Communist head in the debacle will have essentially signed their own death sentence in this country.

When the inevitable in this country comes to pass...

There is one thing that will make the American people happy, in the end

A Return to STRONG states Rights, local rule of social norms and behaviors.

There is No system, not even the one we have now that changes that we are a diverse country and there is no single way or set of rules that can please everyone.

Capitalism is the only economic system that can work in a nation of so many cultures, it's the only one that can let you employ yourself truely and does not have to raise the demon of paying taxes to support social programs that you might for religious or philosophical reasons have a reason or thinking that makes supporting certain behaviors impossible to internally reconcile...

Socialism and Communism might actually work in a Nation where people hold the same ideals the same religion and values

In the United States both even minor insubstantial movements in the direction of have half the country talking about revolution daily.

What we call Socialism here is a trend... a philosophy of integration and unity that is... in the end nothing more than a media movement and a somewhat popular youth expression.

It has no actual teeth, not compared to the cultural norms of religion in families and local behaviors that have persisted hundreds of years... as it further challenges the will of the people throughout most of the country, it's going to ignite a fire and a bad one... The people who support Socialism have no actual passion and the people against it are willing to die.

We can call those people, close minded or any names we want... think of them what we will...

But in the end I know which side will win, I know which side has real fervor and passion and conviction and is willing to fight to the death and it's not Barack Obama and a legion of Mtv watching couch potatoes... who actually care very little about changing anything...

The results of some actions are just obvious...

I personally would even say that a system more like Star Trek is in order and needed...an advancement of Govt to something NEW

But it won't be Communism or Socialism not in this Nation... and it wont come without what's in place being torn down for trying to force it's will...

Don't trick yourself into thinking the United States is a capitalist country. How many of these communist planks are valid in the United States?

1. Abolition of Private Property.
2. Heavy Progressive Income Tax.
3. Abolition of Rights of Inheritance.
4. Confiscation of Property Rights.
5. Central Bank.
6. Government Ownership of Communication and Transportation.
7. Government Ownership of Factories and Agriculture.
8. Government Control of Labor.
9. Corporate Farms and Regional Planning.
10. Government Control of Education.

2, 5, and 10 are concrete realities.

Grey areas....
1. You must pay taxes on private property (land, structures), if you do not pay those taxes the property is taken away.
3. Give em time, and they will finally pass a law either taking inheritance away completely, or taxing it into oblivion.

6. The FCC, FAA, various Rail commissions heavily regulate communication and transportation. Through those regulations they control it completely.
7. if you listen hard enough you can hear that coming.
8. OSHA, governemnt links with union bosses, etc...
