We've all seen the videos, some have seen it first hand, or not at all. Regardless, it seems that democracy is slowly turning into a police state in the US, and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened here in Canada soon enough.

It's clear to me that eventually thing are going to get out of hand, so really we need every tactic we can get our hands on, or get our hands out of, if we're going to be able to stand up, or at least not sit down.

So when I saw these videos, I thought it would be a good idea to show them to the members of this site. In case there bored and wanna try to learn a new trick!

Disclamer: I will show you how a magician might escape from a pair of professional handcuffs. For entertainment purposes only.

Anyways,
heres the videos.

thanks for the info, hope they dont make better ones.
the 2nd 1 looks harder to escape from with limited mobility.

No problem!

I'm currently combing the net for more useful vids, might as well have a little arsenal on this thread haha. But of course, its all for educational purposes, I would never condone the use of these skills. lol.

Those videos dont useful at all.

Look at how loose the plastic cuffs are giving him mobility, they arent even tight around his wrists letting him move his hands like that. Hold your wrists together with a inch spacing. try to see if you can reach inbetween them without moving your wrists away from each other.. ....aint gonna happen. doesnt work. And ive never seen plastic cuffs like that before, usually they are just double cable ties.

The metal handcuffs, i was arrested once and i was trying to see what kind of mobility i had in them when i was in the cop car and really... you dont have that much room for movement. I mean you got 2 inches of movement between the cuffs, not to mention your hands are going to be behind your back and upside down...

Im not trying to say this is impossible but... you better practice for awhile

pretty nifty magic tricks there matey

I like how he says it would be nearly impossible with your hands cuffed behind your back .
Most people could get their hands around the front in less than 5 seconds anyways , easy peasy
well maybe longer ...

They are cable ties - just fancier ones. All cable ties work the same - go out to the garage and get any size and you'll see it works.

Another helpful hint is to tighten your fists when getting handcufffed. It will increase your wrist diameter so that when you relax your fists after the handcuffs are on, there will be much more room to manuveur.

I'm double jointed in my wrist and thumb, makes it pretty easy to slip out of cuffs.

My wrist is the same width as my hands so I can slip out of them too. The plastic ones are a little more difficult.

When I worked at the prison we had to go through an orientation in which we were handcuffed with the regular steel ones that the cops use as well as with the shackle ones used for prison transport. The instructor was a little disturbed to see how easily they could be removed.

I usually slip them back on when we get to the station. Cops have no sense of humor about things like that.

That works, but be careful you don't make it too obvious. You don't want them noticing what you're doing and forcing you to relax and then cuffing you to make it as tight and unmaneuverable as possible.
