Oprah Opens 24th Season With Chicago Street Party

This was in the Chicago papers today. It's big news because it will probably be as big an event as the city has seen for awhile. There will probably be a huge crowd in the downtown area next week. It should be quite a celebration, drawing people from all walks of life. It will also be good for downtown businesses.

Knowing how incredibly famous and well-loved Oprah is, I think it is big news. Hope she has good security and some way to find a little privacy if and when she needs it.
