Just wondering if anyone has anymore information on this case

According to the article, some American and British scientists working in Antarctica on January 27, 1995, noticed a spinning gray fog in the sky over the pole. U. S. physicist Mariann McLein said at first they believed it to be some kind of sandstorm. But after a while they noticed that the fog did not change its form and did not move so they decided to investigate.

They sent up a weather balloon, at the end of a rope, with some equipment attached. To their surprise the balloon immediately disappeared after entering the fog, although the rope hung there, as if still attached. After a few minutes the team pulled on the rope and the balloon reappeared. When they brought it back to the ground they were surprised to find that a chronometer on the balloon displayed the date as January 27, 1965, exactly 30 years earlier.

And on the same track

Famous Russian scientist Nikolay Kozyrev conducted an experiment to prove that moving from the future to the past was possible. He substantiated his views with the hypotheses on instant information spreading through physical characteristics of time. Nikolay Kozyrev even supposed that "time could execute the work and produce energy." An American physics theorist has arrived at a conclusion that time is what existed before existence of the world.

Russian investigator of anomalous phenomena, philosopher and author of numerous books Gennady Belimov published his article under the headline "Time Machine: First Speed On" in the newspaper On the Verge of Impossible. He described unique experiments conducted by a group of enthusiasts led by Vadim Chernobrov, the man who began creation of time machines, devices with electromagnetic pumping in 1987. Today the group of enthusiasts can slow down or speed up the course of time using special impact of the magnetic field. The biggest slowing down of time made up 1.5 seconds within an hour of the equipment's operation in labs.

In August 2001, a new model of the time machine meant for a human was set in a remote forest in Russia's Volgograd Region. When the machine even operated on car batteries and had low capacity, it still managed to change the time by three per cent; the change was registered with symmetrical crystal oscillators.

At first, the researchers spent five, ten and twenty minutes in the operating machine; the longest stay lasted for half an hour. Vadim Chernobrov said that the people felt as if they moved to a different world; they felt life here and "there" at the same time as if some space was unfolding. "I cannot define the unusual feelings that we experienced at such moments."

Interesting finds strange I cannot find anymore follow up experiments.

Thanks

No online reference to any research / papers / literature / etc on this Mariann McLein. I would assume that she would be a published researcher.

Errrr .... she thought it was a sandstorm ??? at the south pole ???? WTF !!!!

Just checked my BS meter and it's totally off scale !

Me too, I thought the same thing. And this:

they were surprised to find that a chronometer on the balloon displayed the date as January 27, 1965, exactly 30 years earlier.

What exactly was the chronometer supposedly measuring? Isn't it an internal clock that tracks the date? I can't think of a logical reason why an internal clock would automatically (without manual manipulation) pick up on the changed year.

I too thought the same.

How does a 'clock' change itself to reflect the local time, 30 years earlier (unless someone in 1965 was on a very long ladder and reset it manually!)

Why would someone put a clock on a balloon put into a grey fog?

Does Antarctica have sandstorms?

Why not repeat the experiment, but this time attach a video camera/still camera? If not, why not?

Why not shoot a low velocity projectile into the fog, and plot it's trajectory through it...it should emerge in 1965, and they should be able to find it in 1995...30 years later, lying in the ice. Could have placed a small radioactive compound inside the small projectile (football sized) which could be tracked with a meter in the present...older, but should still emit a signal.

The original source of the article is from the Russian publication Pravda, which would be akin to the Weekly World News in the U.S., home of the famous Bat Boy type of stories.

ok if there was a time "vortex" the time and data on it would not have gone backwards unbless it was an atomic clock, it is simply impossible. it could only have gone forwards as if it was suspended in time.

there debunked.

The Russian scientists experiment into the time possibility, seemed thorough and ended drastically .

Neither TV nor radio companies reported the astonishing fact; Gennady Belimov says the Russian president was not informed of the experiment. However, he tells that already under Stalin there was a Research Institute of the Parallel World. Results of experiments conducted by Academicians Kurchatov and Ioffe can be now found in the archives. In 1952, head of the Soviet secret police organization Lavrenty Beria initiated a case against researchers participating in the experiments, as a result of which 18 professors were executed by shooting and 59 candidates and doctors of physical sciences were sent to camps. The Institute recommenced its activity under Khruschev. But an experimental stand with eight leading researchers disappeared in 1961, and buildings close to the one where experiments were conducted were ruined. After that, the Communist Party political bureau and the Council of Ministers decided to suspend researchers of the Institute for an uncertain period.

The Russian Scientists involved in this field were all well educated and very focused on anomaly research.

Here is a background on the Russians involved with the theory of time travel over the years.

Vadim Alexandrovich Chernobrov Born 1965

Vadim Chernobrov was born in a small hut of a military airbase. He was educated at the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), Faculty of Space, as an aerospace engineer.

During his study he started an unofficial project into anomaly research and temporal technology development. In 1980 a small student group was formed, which later grew into Kosmopoisk, starting with small trips to anomalous zones in Central Russia.

He wrote several books on anomalous and mysterious events.

Chernobrov also claimed successful development of a time machine device, the idea of which he possibly discovered while working towards his diploma. He claims to have secretly built the first modification at a military factory, under the guise of an electromagnetic trap for musk-rats, called Lovondatr (from Russian Lovushka ondatr - musk-rat trap) and claimed success in 3% time decceleration.

The Kosmopoisk :

Kosmopoisk (Russian: «Космопо́иск», full name—Общеросси́йская нау́чно-иссле́довательская обще́ственная организа́ция «Космопо́иск», abbreviated as ОНИОО), or Spacesearch, is a self-styled all-Russian public scientific Organization (registered as such in 2004), and an International Movement (since 2001) with interests in ufology, cryptozoology, and other mystery investigations.

The organization has more than 2,500 active members, in more than 100 groups in 25 countries, and have organized more than 250 expeditions since 1980. There is an ongoing dispute about the scientific nature of this organization, in particular the claims of time machine development made by its leader Vadim Chernobrov.

Nikolai Aleksandrovich Kozyrev

He was born in St. Petersburg, and by 1928 he had graduated from the Leningrad State University. In 1931 he began working at the Pulkovo Observatory, located to the south of Leningrad. He was considered to be one of the most promising astrophysicists in Russia. Kozyrev was a victim of the Stalinist purges of the Pulkovo Observatory. Started by the accusations of a disgruntled graduate student, most of the observatory staff died as a result. Kozyrev was arrested in November 1936 and sentenced to 10 years for counterrevolutionary activity. In 1942, he was sentenced to be shot by firing squad, but the court later reversed its decision. He was released from prison in December 1946.

In the 1930s, Kozyrev was considered the most promising new astrophysicist in Russia,

Genady Stepanovitch Belimov

He was born in Chita, Russia in January, 1946. His father was a military officer. In 1964, he finished school in Habarovsk and entered the Radio-Physics Department of the Tomsky State University. In 1969, he graduated from the University with an engineering degree in Radio Electrics and Physics.

he became a persistent researcher of the paranormal activities. In 1989, he organized the group of Paranormal Activity Research and became its leader. In 1992 he printed a book "UFO over the Volga Region" and "Ghosts from the skies". He participated in scientific conferences in different cities. He is the author of more than 300 publications on the UFO and phenomenology.

Belimov was the one who discovered Boris Kipriyanovich.

picture thanks to stevyhanny.blogspot.com...

Boriska, or 'little Boris', was featured in Pravda here and here, after Gennady Belimov, a university professor in the Volgograd region of Russia, witnessed Boriska, then aged just seven, astound an adult audience during a camping trip in which he held them spellbound for an hour and a half as he recounted tales of past lives on Mars and Lemuria, and warned of catastrophes due to affect the Earth in 2009 and 2013.

Belimov had the presence of mind to record Boriska's monologue, and within a short time word was spreading within Russia about what this diminutive prophet had to say, especially once the story was picked by Moscow's premier newspaper.

Genady's writings of the boy were first published in September 2004

Bill and kerry from Project Camelot went Russia and interviewed the boy.

Back to our Russian friends seem they were onto something and the powers that be stopped it back in the Nazi days stopped it.

It is good to see that Chernobrov has picked up on their work with Kosmopoisk, and reaserch what the late scientists started .

Thanks

Even if this fog was some type of vortex within the fog itself, than the information would be near useless if that's the only place you could visit. That might also mean that this fog would or could have been seen on that date. Meet me in the fog cloud?

OK enough with the sandstorm time warp.

lets focus on the work by the Russians.

The Russians taking part in the time machine has me interested

The program was resumed in 1987 when the Institute already functioned on the territory of the Soviet Union. A tragedy occurred on August 30, 1989: an extremely strong explosion sounded at the Institute's branch office on the Anjou islands. The explosion destroyed not only the experimental module of 780 tons but also the archipelago itself that covered the area of 2 square kilometers. According to one of the versions of the tragedy, the module with three experimenters collided with a large object, probably an asteroid, in the parallel world or heading toward the parallel world. Having lost its propulsion system, the module probably remained in the parallel world.

And then we have this

The last record made in the framework of the experiment and kept at the Institute archives says: "We are dying but keep on conducting the experiment. It is very dark here; we see all objects become double, our hands and legs are transparent, we can see veins and bones through the skin. The oxygen supply will be enough for 43 hours, the life support system is seriously damaged. Our best regards to the families and friends!" Then the transmission suddenly stopped.

Olga Zharina

Self destruct or destroyed by another force or species? If we time traveled back in time, would we also be considered an enemy and our technologies confiscated? I think you could bet on that.

I think many so-called Nazi WW2 technologies were advanced technologies, such as possibly confiscated from some other species. It's not like the dead aliens or whomever are going to tell us.

So many mistakes are made anyway. Even in controlled conditions and production. To error is still human.

I'm beginning to think the human race was created on a monday.
