Well, in Ted Kennedy's case, it was most likely induced by Alcoholism. God rest his merry soul, but his battle with Alcohol was a running joke while
he was alive and it got him on the TSA No Fly List, despite being a Senator.
However, Cancer has been around since the Dawn of Mankind. There are ancient Egyptian Papyri that have descriptions of Cancer, including Brain
Cancer.
Simply put, when Cancer is not Hereditary or caused by Infection, then Cancer is the build up of foreign substances in the body which our organ
systems are unable to flush out. If it cannot be broken down by the body it accumulates until it becomes a tumor. Depending on the substance, if our
Lymphatic (metastasis Cancer) and Immune system (invasive Cancer) is triggered by it, then it becomes malignant.
The problem is that there are lots of things that can cause Cancer. Genetic Mutation, Epigenetics, Carcinogens, Radiation, Viruses, Bacteria, Hormonal
Imbalances, and a Dysfunctional Immune System. However, just about anything that cannot be broken down completely by our body can become Carcinogenic
which is where the danger and mystery of Cancer comes from. Anything in your diet and environment can then become a source of the Cancer, from the
metals in Soda Cans, to the Laundry Detergent that you use. That is also the problem with preventing and curing Cancer is that as you cannot directly
correlate a primary cause, you cannot defend against it and attack it. Instead you have to treat Cancer by containment and removal.
