Yup Stanton is way off.... I admire Stanton and consider him one of my heros... but his debunking of Lazar unfortunately contains alot of proclomation rather than investigation... which Stanton himself hates.

As I have said myself before.... Stanton assumes Lazar could not have been where he said he was... because of his grades in school put him in the low 30%.... well that is just ridiculous thinking because I failed computing and maths at school... and became an IT manager for a large company. According to Stanton's theories I am lying because I could never have gotten a job with the company I did without a degree..... but that's simply not the case.

I thought this has already proven to be incorrect. In fact I have a very old video from the early 90s where George Knapp investigates Bob Lazar when he first met him... and actually found that everywhere he turned he could not get hold of any of Bob's details including his birth certificate.

Knapp tried several times to contact Los Alamos who denied Lazar ever working there... and it was only because he was constantly trying to find out that Los Alamos finally admitted Bob Lazar was there. It's all on the video along with recorded conversations.

So this fallacy that nothing checks out with Lazar is exactly that... a fallacy. What is definately proven is that all of Bob's records seem to be deliberately hidden.... just like he said they were trying to do with him. It was his reason for coming out publically... because those initial first interviews he did were anonymous and while he was in hiding. Lazar only came public when he realised his identity was effectively being removed from the face of the planet and he feared they were going to kill him.

Agreed. I am usually interested in what Friedman has to say about the UFO subject, but I don't agree with him regarding Bob Lazar.

I believe Lazar's identity was wiped, and I think he's telling the truth.

Bob did lie about his degrees. That is a provable fact and what Stanton was saying in his book.

Government records I do believe can "dissapear" but when not a shread of proof exists that Lazar attended the schools that he said he did, it negatively affects his credibility. The fact that he can not name any of his professors from Cal Tech or MIT, produce a thesis topic, name his thesis advisor, name any classmated that would remember him and had his name picture erased from EVERY yearbook or alumni book leads me to think that he is a liar about his credentials. Stanton is right. Lazar is not a degree holding scientist. That sheds doubt on the possibility of him being hired by a high level government study group.

Do I believe that Oppenheimer was impressed by Lazar and reccomended him to work at S-4? Possibly. I think that 'ol Oppie could get Reverend Wright a job at S-4. He has to be one of the heaviest hitters in US black projects period.

Well if I was the government and wanted to make somebody look like a completely fraud.... It would pretty much take the path that the Bob Lazar story has taken.

Continue to debunk as you wish, there are probably hundreds of members on here that have researched his 'credentials' and background far more than I have. And for that fact, can make more rational conclusions that I can.

As stated before, from what I have heard of UFO's from previous stories: Roswell, Travis Walton, etc... has lead me to believe stories like Lazar's could be true. If so what profound implications!?!?!

I wonder why people think Bob Lazar a liar or most of the ufo investigators for that matter, Cause god knows there must be a better ways of making money than talking about ufo's.

Bob is a liar. Fact.

He was at Pierce, the only college that recognizes him, when he was supposed to be getting a Masters at MIT. He lied about his past, that makes him a liar. To convince people of working on an alien craft is difficult when he can't convince them that he went to college.

I am not a debunker. In that same book Stanton mentions one of the smartest Physicist that he has ever known did not attend college and was given an honerary PHD. One could assume that Lazar was similarly talented. He is obviously smart, but not credible.

people like Stan Romanek and Dan Burisch would probably be pumping gas or working in Wendys, instead they are paid to travel around and talk about themselves.

O do please provide the "facts" because I've never seen anything credible. If its true, I'll be the first person to eat my words. But through all of my searching, I am yet to find a credible source refuting Lazar's story.

Dunno guys?, BL was I believe the first to talk about Janet and Mclaren. BL also mentions his S4 boss by name (Dennis...). BL also shared a very strange video of a test flight which, in my opinion, corresponds to some UFO movement behavior (sliding on Ice, step-down zigzag movement characteristics).

BL working at S4 in /89, in my opinion, is the real deal. Just his academics don't support his stay. But George Knapp walked w/BL through Los Alamos.
BL may have been bought-out during the mid-nineties to shut'm up?

In the Bob Lazar documentary, Bob Lazar claims to have examined two out of the three levels on the disc, but was not granted access to the third level. However, he does seem to suggest that even though they look like portholes, "he can assure you they are not." Seems as though he is suggesting something here...anyone know what that suggestion might be? Cheers

They (whoever they are) tried so hard to discredit him, that they actually gave him more credibility because of the things that don't add up in his background that go in favor of his claims.


I can tell from my personal experience that people may look "dumb" (I admit that Bob sometimes looks a bit stupid) or ignorant, but it's possible that they just had flaws expressing themselfs.

Untill today I've never seen anyone debunking Lazar's knowledge, just attacking his story, and some attacks (like you guys, I respect Stanton, but his debunking looked like frustration to me) are just frustation against his knowledge.

I know pilots that without the uniform, they would look to you like morons...Yet, some of them are the best pilots I know.

can't wait to see the video with matt dameon starring lazaar coming out soon... should be good, thoughts on this?

Bob Lazar got the ball rolling. (gotta make a whole sentence here). Lazar do more for UFO interest than the "Apollo Moon Missions" did for fake moon landings.
