Saturns, Safe Cars?

Saturns are supposed to be really safe cars, maybe if you are in a wreck, but don't try to get anything out of the trunk (boot). I was getting my wife's new Valentine's outfit out of the back of the car when I heard what sounded like a ripping noise. It was alright, my knuckle. Something on the frame, located where the speakers are cut me all the way to the tendons. And they are supposed to be safe, hah.
Just wanted to warn any of you that happen to have Saturns, watch the trunk.
