I don't no about most other 16 year olds, but i smoke. and when i done get a smoke, get the *SNIP* out of my way. i do not have any smokes. went for a walk, swearing to myself, then a 20 sum odd year old said "spaz much?". im positive i shattered his nose and he has a smear of blood on the hood of his car. i have never acted like this, and this is the first time in my smoking years i have not had a smoke when i wanted one.

the result made me ashamed of myself. how could i do that to someone for just reacting in a kiddish way.

if you are thinking was it fair? how tall was it? it does not matter, the fact that i hurt a being for simply reacting. i NEED to quit smoking.

You need to find that person and apologize young man. I mean NOW. What in the hell gives you the right to hit another human being?

I could call you the lobster-eating-troll-fungus-jelly-roll-moron, but that does NOT give you the right to strike out like that.

I've smoked for thirty years (on and off, ok, mostly on) and when I have quit, I NEVER EVER struck out at anyone. And I would never use that as an excuse. That behaviour is wrong. Don't even try to justify it.

-shame-

You think that's bad? You should see him when you try to take his spinning wheel off him!

@Gandhi

Get some nicotine patches.

You can also buy e-cigarettes that simulate smoking but without the tar etc. You can get strong, medium and mild nicotine cartridges which would help in cutting down. They’re cheaper than real cigs too apparently.

You could have killed him, punching him in the nose and sending a bone fragment into his brain, instead of venting in this forum you could have been venting in a jail cell...

Please, please chill out. Seriously, because there are consequences!

What's happening in your life that makes you so angry?

You being 16 years old, did you have problems getting your hands on some smokes, and suffering from nicotine withdrawal, had a rage-gasm?

Not having a smoke is an excuse. No body, and I mean no body acts like that because they don't have a smoke. You have other issues to blame your actions on don't you?

Listen, if you ain't got no smoke, then do what everyone else does and earn them or quit. Going off on someone because they ask if you spaz much is pretty much agreeing to the observation. Whatever is going on with you, I sure hope you get it ironed out before you end up ruining the rest of your life or someone else's.

Aw Ghandi.

Now smokers are going to be terrorists. Thanks buddy.

Seriously, that sucks man. You might just have to let us know how it worked out for you after you get bailed out.

Violence isn't the answer....and smoking isn't either.

Slow down, man. If you know the guy, you DO need to go make it right. Not having a smoke is not a valid reason for assaulting someone else. If he wants to press charges, it sucks, but you're gonna have to live with it.

It wasn't his fault, but you know that.

this shocked me, when i was 16 i was on at least 20 a day (im only a year older, and i smoke more now, so no claim for moral high ground here) and school was like 6 hours when i couldnt smoke and i never attacked anybody else.

just representing for peaceful teenagers who smoke

If you're going to smoke, at least smoke real tobacco, not the poisoned stuff that the big companies sell you at the corner store. They're full of evil chemicals. Nicotine's bad enough without the additives.

Maybe you don't know how to find it, but it's around. People grow their own tobacco and it's way better for you.

Better yet... don't smoke at all. Your anger issues will fade after a while.

First I applaude you for knowing and feeling that what you did was wrong. You have a conscience and that is something sorely lacking in a lot of todays youth!

I think your anger was a mixture of lack of nicotine and normal teenage hormones! Learn from this mistake and try not to make it again. Next time you might not be so lucky!

Now THIS I can agree with. It takes some testes to come in here and admit to something when you know you're going to get a thrashing. Even if it IS somewhat anonymous. That shows some real promise.

Gandhi, you must own your actions and not blame them on something else.

My deepest sympathies are with you. Sixteen can and usually is a very difficult time in a persons life.

You seem to have a small anger issue. Please work on bringing it under control.

If you don't, you could really hurt someone badly, you could end up getting angry at the wrong person and getting badly hurt and of course there is also jail.

Sometimes anger can be a good thing. Learn how to use it to your advantage.

Much love to you and hope you have a good life.

I've never had like withdrawals, whenever i'd quit smoking.

Maybe I just don't have the addiction thing for it, I like smoking, but if I didn't i'd say with a boast of confidence that I wouldn't hit someone because of it.

You need to seek Anger Management bro.

If you're willing to hit strangers, that isn't very becoming of a home life.

Woa dude, just because you couldn't have a cigarette doesn't mean you need to go around punching people. Your call sign is ghandi for Christ sakes!

Plus all he did was call you a spaz? WTF! You probably where being a spaz. He was simply stating the obvious. Good Job *snip* face!

You need to find him and apologize or I swear to god I will sick my sniper kitty on you!

I feel the story needs to be made a little more clear.

Walking down the street, very angry, swearing a little, and a guy standing by his car on his cell looks at me and says "Spaz much?" i look back an say "What?" they guy hangs up the cell phone and takes a few steps forward. i knew what was coming so i reacted first, but out of anger not self defense.

this i realized and i no was wrong, i have nothing to blame but myself. using teenage hormones and craving for an excuse is unacceptable to me. so i apologized, and yeah the guy wants to fight me again. im obviously not going to and am going to avoid him at all costs.

Listen, I'm young too, but honestly I don't remember even 10 years ago people acting like this.

In my opinion, there is a growing cancer called "too much pride" and "feelings of entitlement" that started with the generation before mine and has gotten worse since.

I don't mean to get too heavy on you dude, but when I was 16, I was more worried about getting lucky than cigs or beating people up.

I think you need to look past the addiction and realize that may have a lot less to do with it than you think.
