The following is a rush transcript of the August 23, 2009, edition of "FOX News Sunday With Chris Wallace." This copy may not be in its final form and may be updated.
CHRIS WALLACE, HOST: We're going to do something different here today. Usually, we discuss the news, but today we're going to tell you about something you may never have heard about, what critics are calling the "death book."
It's a 52-page pamphlet the Department of Veterans Affairs is using right now in end-of-life counseling for the nation's 24 million veterans.
On Fox News Sunday, Chris Wallace hosted former Bush administration aide Jim Towey to discuss his recent Wall Street Journal op-ed, "The Death Book for Veterans," and in doing so promoted numerous distortions about an end-of-life educational booklet used by the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). In addition to forwarding the smear that the booklet is a "death book," Wallace promoted Towey's distortion that the booklet encourages veterans to "pull the plug" -- it doesn't; Wallace and Towey both claimed that the Bush administration suspended use of the booklet -- it didn't; and Wallace claimed that a VHA document requires doctors to direct veterans to the booklet -- it doesn't.
Rumors of the VA death book can hijack the debate and throw the Democrats off message. They are especially unwelcome for Democrats at a time when they are desperately trying to heal intraparty divisions over the public option.
The right wing -- with a huge assist from Sarah Palin -- have heretofore been very effective in thoroughly throwing the White House off message during its messy, disorganized push for health care reform...
And to remain on topic, have to say, Palin is not the greatest ambassador for the US

I cannot stand Sarah Palin, or the groupies following her hair style now. It's like some kind of cult. I've really tried to listen to the lady.
Generally I'm wary of all govt., but in many ways like Obama...He's kept us out of wars that McInsane, and Billary would have surely had us in by now.
Again, I do not trust govt., but I think there is a particular evil group of Quasi Fascist Republicans like Palin trying to push us into raging white waters; so to speak.

Sarah Palin is a private citizen. She has every right to say what she wants.
Don't know about you, but most of the literate world pretty much accepts that Dubya entered carrying a script in which the murder of 3,000 Americans on 9/11 was Part One

I've really been doing something thinking about the reasoning of the articles. It was pointed out that the article orginated with the NYTimes.
Now the article really was all over the place with explanations, and just all stirred up in directions, or explanations.
I noticed something odd, The CIA complained about Blackwater loading the missles inadequately around a year ago..........That's during the Bush Administration.
Which leads me to believe in hind sight that this article is nothing more than a smear campaign against Obama.
The program of having Blackwater load bombs on drones, has been ongoing since Bush, but the article paints it as though Obama is starting the program now.
Skeptic Overlord talked about this recently here: www.abovetopsecret.com...
I have read this elsewhere that many of the World Power Brokers aren't happy with Obama, and he is not doing as told, at least a 100% as told.
I am not defending Obama, but I do believe both articles are subversive propaganda, and are in concert with other subversive propaganda; which is making Obama look more, and more evil daily.
As Skeptic Overlord said:
Damn The Country; Obama Must Fail!!!!
Having that said, I believe in live, and let live; each to their own.
