That is all

I guess that sometimes it makes us feel more secure to show our dismay instead of what we like

I know it does for me ^^

I just wanted to know background info because I thought it would be interesting to see if it really had any kind of bearing on people's understanding of the opposite sex.

I'm sure you knew this all along but it was a simply typo. But for clarification in case you didn't know, what I mean is:

Ask a girl anything you want.

OR...

Ask a guy anything you want.

This thread is for both sexes to ask eachother questions.

And, no, I'm not a hermophrodite or transexual...sheeze

100% female, not even a tom boy

Edit to add: For today's grammar lesson we will learn about the symbol "/" when used to join individual words/phrases (oops there's that symbol again) together.

"/" is used in place of saying "and" or "or" in this case it is obviously used in place of "or".

Not only Rambo movies, but what is the deal with James Bond. Yuck!

In my defense, I hate most girlie movies like those already spoken of. I don't need to understand why the Devil is wearing Prada, I don't need to know what a shop-a-holic has to confess and I most certainly don't give a hoot about what is in Bridget Jones' Diary. LOL....

I see movies like Rambo, James Bond, and any Steven Segal/Chuck Norris movie as being the guys' equivalent to girlie movies. Both are devoid of any kind of substance. But, being how I can be a hypocrite sometimes, as we all can, I love me a scary movie!

what do girls look for in guys?
what things do us guys do that is annoying?

[edit on 24-8-2009 by Spiritfilled]

Most girls want a guy whose funny, strong (emotionally/mentally and we can usually give or take physically), respectful, and has no problem sticking up for his girl when the need arises, whether it's to his own buddy or some stranger.

But, we don't like when they go overboard.

I think the most annoying thing any guy I've known has done is to imitate a tornado. Meaning, anywhere they have been a huge mess has been left behind. Ugh!

There were only 2 decent James Bonds....Roger Moore and Sean Connery....the latter being the best I think

It is only natural for dudes to feel the urge to screw something up. Make no mistake. Alot of the time when your man is messing something up and you think he is just being dumb...he just might know EXACTLY what he is doing.

I actually like movies like those from Pedro Aldomovar ( Hable con Ella, Volver, La Mala Education etc) arthouse , fantasy and Star Trek

I guess that makes me somewhat of a geeky dreamy lover of drama/relationships ^^

Such an odd combination...I wonder where it fits on tjhe whole guy/girl type of movie

My guess....nowhere :shk:

A guy with a mullett killing people

Its just awesome

What is so awesome about a guy with an outdated hair cut, running around dressed like GI Joe killing people???

I forgot about James Bond! I saw the last 2 with Daniel Craig and they were ok, but maybe that was just because he was kind of hot in them.
But my boyfriend loves Bond movies as well as Rambo and Rocky movies...I'm with you, I hate girlie movies usually, I'm more for comedy, scary, and some action flicks...
