[HOAX] HAMAS Plays Host To Pedophilia

TrueAmerican fell victim to a hoaxed image from an unreliable source. For those of you who don't know, the legal age for marriage for women in Palestine is 15. Many women's groups in Palestine are trying to change that

I said right there I did not know. Someone sent me the link in email. And I had to go to work, so it was a post and go and let ATS sort it out till I got back. I see you guys sorted it out.

But I do not knowingly post false information here or anywhere for any reason.

That was my 660th thread, and I think the first one I have ever had end up in the HOAX forum. It might be the second, but I don't think more than that. Oh well. Can't win em all.

I am no fan of Hamas, but can anybody vouch for the credibility of the source? Is it possible that the picture we see could be something innocent like a daddy-daughter dance?

Hamas are also fanatical muslims. As such, they would not take to kindly to their women going around without a veil or head covering. So if these girls are Hamas brides, why aren't their heads covered?

The children are the nieces, cousins etc of the grooms. The brides are elsewhere.

Then the fireworks explode, the cheering begins, and in march the Hamas scouts, bashing drums, looking every inch the future Hamas fighters many will be. Then the grooms, aged about 18 to about 28. They are holding hands with their young nieces and cousins, little girls aged from about 3 to 8, made up to the nines, wearing white wedding dresses.

There is at least one vid on Youtube about this.

Although according to the Islamic faith you can marry a small child (and yes, it is very appalling to me), that is not what we're seeing here.

It's a tradition to have 'an innocent' give away the groom in some cultures. Similar to how we have the father give away the bride in our weddings, they have young female relatives give away the groom. What you're seeing there is young female relatives taking the grooms to meet the brides- not the brides themselves.

Some people should research before they post such rubbish.

So, does this mean this thread is busted, debunked and should be labeled as HOAX?

Although I have heard of child brides, I've also heard that was to secure a future for that family ( sold?) or whatever and that these children don't have sex until they're of age...whatever that is.

Child brides is one thing in that way, but to force children into slavery and child labor along with prostitution is extremely inhumane. I've also heard some religious sect of the Jews or old ways also did this in some form.

Some countries also have a much earlier age of consent and marriage.
