Iranian rockets used in attack on U.S. military base. New evidence of Tehran's support for terrorists in Iraq

www.wnd.com

New evidence is surfacing in the Middle East documenting Iran's continuing support of terrorist activity in Iraq, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.

Shiite insurgents fired Iranian-made rockets in an Aug. 17 attack on a U.S. military base near the southern Iraqi city of Basra, according to the World Tribune.

No surprise here then. I think quite a few of us had a feeling this might of been happening from the start of the Iraq invasion in 2003. So they're arming our enemy with weapons to kill us.. I think it's now safe to say Iran is definitely one of our enemies. It would be like me putting a gun in somebody's hand and telling them to shoot you, I think that would make me your enemy. Does Iran actually want peace or what? I just can't understand that government no matter how hard I try to.

I can't understand the American government.

Those missile parts and pieces probably came from American arms dealers in the first place I would think.
Iran is not the enemy and niether are the Iraqis.
I think America is its own worst enemy is a more accurate statement.

I see what your saying. I can't understand our Gov either, but at least we,v tried to make peace recently, and they still continue to ARM OUR ENEMY!
to kill us. It's nice to know we're turning in on ourselves isn't it. That's how civilizations fall I always thought. Maybe I'm wrong then.

The United States is supplying arms to countrys all over the world. Those arms are being used to kill other people. However when someone else does it they are the evil enemy that you just can't understand. Makes no sense what so ever. And quite frankly it wouldn't surprise me a bit to find out that it was a CIA or Blackwater attack using Iranian weapons to get more involved in another countrys business.

I will admit I could be wrong about the whole situation, but I know we have made more of an effort for peace with Iran recently then we ever have before, and what do they do? They throw it back in our faces. I thought it would have made a lot more sense to except the offer. Or would that of been more hassle than it was worth? Probably would now I'm actually thinking about it.

I appreciate your views, and like I said I could be wrong.

this sounds to me like a classic example of disinfo propoganda aimed at painting Iran as the "bad guys", so that the US and Israel can have an other excuse to launch a preemptive attack on Iran.

Just look at the other cases of US and CIA black operations in Iran over the years.
They want to go into Iran as badly as they did Iraq. I am just waiting to hear about the WMD's that Iran has.
Open your eyes folks it has long been known how badly the US wants to control Iran. Didn'y one of the Rockefeller's clearly state that IRan was next on the list after the failure to assasinate Chavez in Venezuela.

I suspect that 75% of what we hear about NK is also bunk. If you make another country appear to be tyrants and dangerous eventually the masses will believe this and support an attack on them.

Well the American government has been meddling in thier politics and affairs for many years.
My opinion is Iran has no reason whatsoever to think for a minute that America is being sincere in its diplomacy.
The Iranian leader (cough cough) even asked Obama for a public debate.
Its my guess he was not going to let some things go and was gonna call their bluff.
Predictably...no debate happened or is going to happen.

I get dibs on calling this bull# propaganda.

They were 100% certain Iraq had WMD's and harbored Al-Qaeda terrorists, do you remember that stuff? Then later they said oh they don't have either of those things.

Now repeat after me.
THIS IS PROPAGANDA!
THIS IS PROPAGANDA!
THIS IS PROPAGANDA!

Plain and simple.

so this is amazing...

We have Iran on one side trying to make peace...inviting UN iNspectors to check their Nuclear Plants....Saying they are ready to talk with the West..

And we have the US pushing on in trying to get the way to apply their Invasion of Iran..by misleading the World

For me I think invasion of Iran is now inevitable , the gear is in motion and I forecast that in 2 yrs time things are gonna be much different

Really? I honestly didn't know about that, I seriously thought it was more the other way round.. Thanks for sharing that info I will defo look more into things before I post. I made a thread a couple of days ago about the NK situation "looking hopeful" after Bill Clinton's visit last week, I didn't get the slightest bit of interest whatsoever, I thought maybe the news wasn't bad enough or something

Iranian rockets used in attack on U.S. New evidence of Tehran's support for terrorists in Iraq

Even the OP's headline is wrong. Iranian rockets were not used to attack the USA. They were used to attack US troops that had been used to invade and occupy another nation, Iraq.

They would have been used to attack the US if they were shot at something inside the USA. Now they were used against American occupation troops in another country. If the Nazis occupy France and you shoot a rocket at the occupying forces, you are not attacking Germany, you are attacking the occupying forces. If you shoot a rocket at the Soviets in Afghanistan, you are not attacking Soviet Union, you are attacking the occupying forces. If you shoot a rocket at Americans in Iraq, you are not attacking USA, you are attacking the occupying forces.

I have no sympathy for the Iranian government, but you Americans are often so paranoid and arrogant towards other nations it makes me sick.

Good for Iraq! I for one, admire their willingness to defend their home country and culture. We are raping their land, their culture and their complete social infastructure... when we leave, there will be nothing left.

You bet your behind, if any other nation were to invade US soil, I would be grabbing any weapons I could to roll into the street and defend my neighbors. Iranian, North Korean, American... whatever- if it shoots, I'll use it to fight the invaders.

WE ARE THE INVADERS!!!!
