i was watching to SECCHI solar stereo, today we had two A0 sunflares, here you can find an explanation from spaceweather

spaceweather.com...

but it's not the flares who take my attention but one picture from the stereo cor2

here you can see the movie:

stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov...

and this is the picture from the movie

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/9427a55447cc.jpg[/atsimg]

as you can see i can not define what is all this littel light but look at this point near to the sun, watch the movie and go to the frame 18:09:35 and you move to the frame 18:24:24, this gives me the impression that the point touched the sun, it's not a confirmation but just my point of view i need some expert eyes on this.

The dot that appears at 18:09 is probably the result of a cosmic ray striking the sensor, it happens all the time.

What you are seeing at 18:24 (and both earlier and later images, see below) is a small, active area in the corona . FYI, the dark circle is the disk of the coronograph. The white circle in the disk represents the Sun itself.
