Many of us have asked the question" How have we arrived at this place in History with the problems of our government?' Well this is the technique used to lull the populace into submission. It's insidious and dangerous and we who care about our country need to learn it and make use of the techniques for derailing the propagators of this treason!

Using the Delphi Technique to Achieve Consensus
How it is leading us away from representative government to an illusion of citizen participation

The Delphi Technique and consensus building are both founded in the same principle - the Hegelian dialectic of thesis, antithesis, and synthesis, with synthesis becoming the new thesis. The goal is a continual evolution to "oneness of mind" (consensus means solidarity of belief) -the collective mind, the wholistic society, the wholistic earth, etc. In thesis and antithesis, opinions or views are presented on a subject to establish views and opposing views. In synthesis, opposites are brought together to form the new thesis. All participants in the process are then to accept ownership of the new thesis and support it, changing their views to align with the new thesis. Through a continual process of evolution, "oneness of mind" will supposedly occur.

In group settings, the Delphi Technique is an unethical method of achieving consensus on controversial topics. It requires well-trained professionals, known as "facilitators" or "change agents," who deliberately escalate tension among group members, pitting one faction against another to make a preordained viewpoint appear "sensible," while making opposing views appear ridiculous.

The USDA tried using the Delphi Technique on farmers during "listening sessions" about NAIS however thanks to the internet and sites like yupfarming: USDA employing Delphi Technique: Prepare to be Delphi'd! and No NAIS

"Watch out for the Delphi Technique. “Public meetings” are run by highly trained “facillators”.

Farmers were prepared and did not fall for the "facillators" tricks. Things got rough enough that they had armed police at the meeting. Congress finally defunded the program but TPTB have not given up and are trying to slip NAIS (national Animal ID) into the bogus "Food Safety Bills"

This technique is definitely very bad news for those not prepared for it. The NoNais.org site gives pointers to sites about the technique and how to counter it. Just knowing it exists is a big help.

Not really. It is the basis for the tactics and the mechanics in the use of these principles to manipulate the populace. That statement is the psychological basis for the premise!

OP - What consensus do you think these facilitators are trying to drive us to?

I've never heard of the technique before you posted it but I am very intrigued.

The site you linked: Learn-Usa.com is full of good information, thanks!

From what I can gather it is being used for almost all venues where citizen discord is used to facilitate the opinions used by the MSM and the polls on the Congressional and Senate bills that must have a public discussion or public hearings! It seems obvious that it's to push the agenda of the backers of the bill and probably used by both sides!

This guy isn't talking to us; he's talking *at* us.

It does not matter whether he is talking to you or "at" you, what matters is that you understand people in the Government have been trained to twist what ever you say so they can reach the predetermined conclusion and declare everyone is in agreement. Meanwhile you stand there going "BUT BUT but but that is not what I meant!"

Forewarned is forerarmed. The USDA agents were really really p!$$ when the farmers did not go along and told them point blank "Do not try using that @#$% technique on us!
