From what I can gather, we are creating an epic unrivaled in literary history. Just kidding about that but I feel this is a great story so far. I posted an addition earlier and I hope to be able to post another one tonight. I have been inundated with stupidity here in the real world. I knew it was a bad idea to leave for the weekend. Anyway, like I said I'll try to post later on and great job here guys seriously. I love what has happened since my hiatus!

Glad to have you back! I am glad you are enjoying the story so far. I think you are speaking the truth. I don't think we have been rivaled before in literary history. Pulitzer Prize for all of us. Is their a way to submit this story..lol..

I would like to give a shout out as well! This story is really turning into something special! This world you have created, Myth, is very enthralling, and sometimes I step into it, and I don't want to come out . . . hahaha! The creativity and literary prowess of contributors, is unparalleled in my humble opinion, and this tale can go in a million directions. Keep up the good work, and lets take this story to even higher heights! Finished reading your post Jack and have enjoyed reading about the accolades of your nomadic pack of bikers. Their ferocity is something that shouldn't be taken lightly by the other characters. Keep up the good work and keep the posts coming!

Got a new post in before going to work and hope you all enjoy, "Sightseeing at the Lake." I will probably take a few days off since posting twice in such a short span, but who knows maybe some more surprises in the coming days? Stay tuned . . .

One of our more prolific writers will not be posting for a couple days. Mr. Toodles is dealing with real life stuff and will be tied up for a bit. I do not know exactly when he will be posting but I'm sure he will be back in action very soon. We will all be anxiously awaiting his return.

On another note, Jakes wonderful job! I felt like I was at that lake dumping a hideous corpse. Way to go man, very good writing my friend. I will be posting soon also. I just want to find a few images to include. Everyone is doing an awesome job with this story and I agree with Myth, bring on the Pulitzer's!

Thanks for the compliments Jack and I really enjoy your character Skyler. I loved how he and his pack savagely dismembered that vampire nest in one of your earlier posts. I wonder what ol' Pablo has up his sleeve when he finds out his tanker has new owners? Maybe our characters will cross paths . . . ? Who knows? In regards to my post, what do you think is in the black felt bag on the driver's seat? Anyway, keep the posts coming my friend!

I did notice that bit of intrigue you left at the end. I cannot speculate but I will be watching the next posts of yours with anticipation! I'm sure it is something sinister and not very good for werewolves, but I'm just guessing.

Once again. My apologies for everything. I am reading up on the story thread right now and preparing my newest post. Had to take a day off from work finally. It has been crazy

YES, YES! Check out my last post. It is pretty cool I think. I had to go with the Iron Maiden thing and I believe it has me out of my rut. I am ready to look at this story as if it was a brand new project. John Q I hope I was right in referring to the berserkers as half human and half wolf. Let me know if that is incorrect because I don't believe you mentioned that. I just put it there because that's what I saw man. I was on the deck of that freighter! I saw them spring over the side and what a sight dude. You gotta see it the way I did. I could always edit if they aren't that way though. Let me know.

Awesome post Jack, very exciting! Skylar and the gang kicked a@# and turned those drug dealers into human confetti. I can't wait to see what becomes of your vendetta against Pablo. I think he will go into hiding after hearing back from his pilot about his security force being decimated in such short order by your marauding minions and the beserkers? I am anxiously awaiting what will become of your meeting with the King when that juncture arrives. Keep up the good work my friend. Oh yeah, good choice of Maiden as your mood music.

Thanks man. I was psyched when I was listening to it. John Q, I changed it anyway, check it out. I'm not sure if half human half wolf was cool. I just made them inhuman in their rage and speed.

Jakes, I still want to see what was in that mysterious silk bag man. I hope you can post soon. I need to know! Your character is so creepy and mysterious that I am intrigued. You keep up the good work as well! I look forward to your post.

New post up. Jack, I think you will be surprised at what is in the bag. With regard to Iron Maiden in Jackflap's addition, I thought it would be appropriate to accompany my post with Cliff Burton's bass solo from the Metallica song "Orion." New Orleans is getting more interesting by day . . . stay tuned and enjoy!

Great post Jakes! I did not expect that bag to have fingertips and teeth. I thought it would have been something far more nefarious in regards to werewolves. I'm glad it didn't though and great idea. Now they cannot identify the body. Awesome twist and you had me thinking. Great tunes for the ending too. I could see him standing on the balcony surveying his next meal. Really cool.

Don't worry Jack, I will factor the Werewolves in very soon . . . Just have to find the right angle to make it plausible. However, at present, I am in the process of digging up dirt on Toodles. I am glad you enjoyed the surprise. Keep up the good work!

So I was thinking of taking my clan to a whole different level at some point. Eventually after we realize the total vulnerabilities of our technological endeavors, we might start experimenting with neural genetic manipulations to increase the psychic powers of certain vampires.

Ideas?
