Afghan Warlord's Warning To Nato Forces

news.sky.com

One of the world's most wanted warlords has told Sky News he will not enter into any peace talks while foreign troops remain in Afghanistan.

Gulbuddin Hekmatyar

Hekmatyar says he helped Osama bin Laden escape the mountains of Tora Bora

Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, a Mujahideen leader who was once the Afghan prime minister, now leads the Hezb-e-Islami political party and paramilitary group in Afghanistan.

His gunmen fight alongside al Qaeda and the Taliban - with the mission of killing British and American troops.

Sky News gained unprecedented access to his group, and spent several days

Sky News are running this story now, they're replaying the same pro-war interviews to encourage support of the war. They're showing lots of clips of troops & interviews with "terrorists".

They're also showing Obama's speech about 911 and saying the terrorists want to attack us again. The international MSM's war mongering propaganda machine is running on full steam.

The American Way

In his first interview to a British journalist in nearly a decade, he told Sky News: "The important issue for us is to end the occupation and re-establish the country's sovereignty.

"We never want to take part in a puppet Government under foreign dictat.

"The Kabul Government is made up of looters and corrupt criminals. We don't want to enter this dirty ditch."

Clearly this poor fellow doesn't understand that representative government can only be achieved through forceful imposition by a foreign power.

Not to worry, though, as he'll no doubt be "liberated" soon enough for being "un-American" and "hating freedom".

My sarcasm must be tempered, however, by Mr. Hekmatyar's own track record of pathological lies, rabid hypocrisy, murdering Afghani civilians, betraying allies, conspiring with foreign powers (including the U.S., the same thing for which he condemns President Karzai) and willingness to sacrifice anyone and anything to further his own political ambitions.

In other words, he'd fit right in among politicians anywhere in the world, especially America.

Hektamayar was the warlord the british and american secret services used to infil teams to train the mujahadeen in camps to fight the russians.
He also provided men to act as guides to british sas who were tasked with recovering a wishlist of russian arms from the captured stores the mujahadeen stockpiled around afghanistan.

This man is also in it up to his eyeballs with the opium trade.
The opium transits the borders to pakistan where the ISI take charge of it for the british secret service.

Controlled opposition, providing the impetus for more imperialist involvement.

A book called the shooting gallery is a wealth of information, it helps put to-days "war" into perspective.

That would seem to explain his singular longevity in a line of work known for its astronomical mortality rate.

In fact, it would seem to explain the singular longevity of a great many *cough* career jihadists.

America's popularity, even among ersatz enemies, is truly phenomenal.

I don't particularly agree with either way, but how is saying that fear mongering? I'm sure they do want to attack us again, especially since we are on their land.
