Hello everyone,

I have been aware of spoon bending for a long time, and had been looking into a lot of information for how they do it, so far I had found information involving magic cheating and also mind power.

Personally I believe it is true, I had eye witnessed people making a spoon into a coil in a restaurant, but since that time I was still small and didn't really get into it and look for information, and recently I start to research about mind power and energy works, and I get a common response from these spoon bending people - "everyone can do it".

To many people, spoon bending may just be a trick to make fun with people, but to me, it is like a task or an event to show myself that this kind of energy does really exists and I am able to use it too.

I have been reading a lot of ways to bend a spoon; including channeling energy from the universe/nature/some kind of spiritual energy like "sekhem", focusing real hard telling themselves that the spoon is going to bend for them, imagine a lot of emotional events from their lives and use that force to crush the spoon..etc

I had been trying all of them, some "work", some didn't, so far my best result was to bend and twist the spoon with my real strength, but it took less strength then I expected (was suprised). And the common feeling from those events was vibrations on my hands holding the spoon, it is like the feeling of multiple of pins hitting my hand, but it was not heavy ones.

Until tonight, I tried a way of "distraction", which they suggest you to look at something else after the meditation, think of something not related for the subconscious to work for you at that moment. New thing happened to me, the vibration in my hands happens as normal, but at the point I distract myself my thinking an event with my friend, I feel that vibration amplified on my hands, it was heavy like something with real electricity that is shocking my hands, I was totally awaken at that time looking at my clock, the shock continues, but I keep holding the spoon and distracting myself with my friend's event, and then I start counting the clock, at 5th second, I tried to bend the spoon, guess what, I had failed, it was still hard for me to bend, I bent a little and felt the hardness and stopped. But the experience of that shock on my hand surprised me, I never had such a strong feeling so far.

I would like to ask you that, can you explain to me that what feeling of that shock might be? And what should I do next when I feel the heavy shock in order to let me bend the spoon in a soften condiction? And by the way, evertime I finished a try on the bending, I feel extra thirsty and sleepy.

Update:
Today I gave another try for the last method that gave me strong electricity feeling; everything works the same like yesterday, and have the same result (i.e. I still feel too hard to bend). But the strong electricity feeling this time not only appeared on my hand, I feel the same feeling in my abdomen part of body, the multiple pin-hitting-liked feeling inside me, it is not painful, but electricity liked, that make me even more interested what is actually happening. I had try to search body diagrams but I think none of the organs exactly points to that part of my body which felt the electricity; but I did more searching and finally found a suitable image pointing to that exact area, which is the location of the "Solar Plexus Chakra".
My question now is, what may I be actually feeling? Is that some kind of energy? (As it was not an illusion for sure, as it is super obvious that even made my hand shaked) Why am I feeling electricity feeling on both my hands and inside me at the same time? Will that be harmful to my body? Thanks again!

Best Regards,
Will

This seems to be pretty hard to do. Try something easier. Like this:

Get a post it note, a straight pin and a dixie cup. Turn the dixie cup upside down, push the pin through it so the sharp side is up.

Fold the post it note in half and open it. Balance it on the point of the pin. Bring your hands close to it and try to make it move to spin around.

If you can make it move try to use your hands to stop the paper and make it rotate in the opposite direction. If you can make the paper move, get a bandanna and tie it over your nose and mouth, to make sure you are not blowing on the paper.

I have done this, before witnesses.

I understand what are you saying, I knew about this psi wheel, but I never success moving it so far (like more then half year)

The reason I want to try the spoon one, because they said it should be easier because you are using half-strength/half-mind for it (i.e. you are using your force to bend it, but of course it got to be much easier)

There's another spoon bending where you don't even have to touch it, but I know, that's too far for me at this point, I wont bother doing that, but as spoon-soften-bending one worked for many people, I would like to give a try.

Someone also told me psi wheel might be hard because in reality you are not touching it, the mental barrier might be thicker then bending a spoon where you can have your hand touching it or even use some strength on it...

Another thing is that I want someone to explain to me what those electricity feeling actually are inside me and my hand (That I never ever had this feeling before)

advises please, thanks

I thought the spoon bending trick was just a ......well, trick. Watch this hand while I bend and weaken the spoon in the other hand.

I remember Uri Geller not being able to do it under test conditions. I don't think anyone was surprised. I have a hard time believing anyone has paranormal abilities. If there were people that could do this stuff I'm sure we would have heard about them. They could also get a million dollars from the Million Dollar Challenge.

This is how to bend a spoon. There is no trick of the mind.

For the Million Dollar Challenge, I've seen somewhere that Randi doesn't allow a lot of people entering his challenge whenever he can't explain it, also from various source that Uri Geller is using his "abilities" on something else to earn a lot of money

Well after all I hope that anyone who know about energy and such psychics could answer my question instead of discussing whether this thing is "real" or not, just like psi wheels, a lot of skeptics had already explain how they're faked.
But I had already got passed that stage, which means I don't care if some are faked, I believe there're real ones, thats also why we are in ATS.
Also as an eye witness I need no more proofs of how is it faked, I believe what I saw earlier (a friend, at close distance, without any illusion and masking stuff)

If you saw your friend doing it, then shouldn't you be asking him the questions? And if your friend won't tell you, then I think it would be a safe bet it was a trick.

I don't like to be close minded and say it's not possible to do. But I've never seen anything that wasn't a trick. Some tricks are meant to be seen up close. The little bend of the spoon is a weak point, and you can bend them with your fingers without the pressure being visible.

If I'm not mistaken your experiment had a lovely spinoff: you tuned into the universal energy - that is what is flowing through your hands etc. I don't know your areas of interest but this means that you've started to close that gap between your physical and your spiritual self and now you're into a whole new ball game. Simply wonderful. The electricity feelings are the same as to what people who uses "universal energy" to heal experience. It may be that you're tuned into a different (other than healing) frequency for now, but by changing your intent and interest you can do a whole range of frequencies. Check out info on reiki healing to start off with if it interests you.

The other spinoff is that you have started the process of activating your chakras, and that is another whole new area of interest
. Your solar plexus area is the seat of your solar plexus chakra. This is really cool! If you work with it you will have many more what I call "bells and whistles" experiences.

Have fun with it.

I must admit, I don't know the science and the how of these energies, but I've worked with it long enough to understand that it is simply extaordinary!

@badmedia:
They looks like something like these:

Not just a simple bend, but twist and twist into a coil
I've kept one of them, and I am not able to do anything with it (make it straight)
Even I tried to burn it with a lighter or put in boiled water and try to open the coil, it was still way too hard.

Yes, of course I had asked them questions, they are willing to tell too, and the answer was using mind energy/external energy and similar stuff like that (almost like those googled tutorials); I just couldn't do it and instead felt the weird feeling

@Travel_light
Thanks for replying, I guess I would try to dig Reiki then..
Does Reiki need to learn any symbools beforehand, I dont have any materials?

Like the man said... there is no spoon.

And why spoons? Why not a fork?

Spoon bending is real.
I know someone that was producing a documentary on spoon bending.

And she said the same thing: everyone can do it.
So I asked her how to do it.

This is the technique she taught me:

Relax, breathe a couple of times, liberate your mind from preoccupations and desires. Yes, desires. This is the difficult part, you cannot expect or want something to happen or else it won't happen. You need to have intent without desire.

After you are prepared start visualizing and feeling white energy coming into your forehead and going down all the way to your hand. Visualize the entire movement of energy through your body. Eventually you will start feeling heat on your hands and thats when the spoon is getting soft.

I've tried it myself a couple of times and I got the spoon to become fairly soft. Not soft enough so that I could spiral it around itself, but soft enough that I could bend it without any effort. Its something you need to practice and be really patient about it.

Oh, also, she told me that it only works with stainless steel spoons.

Reiki is but one modality and it works with symbols. It is good place to start but not necassarily the end of the journey. It helps to get your head around the principles and provides some kind of structure. Check out a thread by Redwoodjedi on the methphysical/psychology forum. He offers help to get started

some updates guys:

I did this one with those 'process' out there, I can't say I can do it like 'soft rubber weak', I needed to use a bit of strength for this, but the weird thing is, if I just brute force it, I may bend it, but my hand will get freaking pain and even get hurt by the hard metal (will get a 10 minutes mark on my palms), but with that 'process' involved' I feel its easier then normal, I don't feel much anti pushing pressure and my hand wont get pain, no hard red mark as well. But I still can't get the 'very soft' situation that all those sources mentioned, this confuses me.. My situation is like, I can't say this is not working at all but I dare not to say it really works!
Any help out there?

I used to make the Psy Wheels for fun. That's a really neat trick if you don't know why it works.. it's just simple science.

The spoon bending thing I have tried and never got anyplace, and then they came along and proved Uri Geller to be a fake. I stopped trying.

I used to be really interested in moving objects with my mind and read everything I could. I remember an episode of the popular Tv show That's Incredible in the 70's .. had this guy who could turn pages of a phone book with his mind. They asked him to do it live on air in the studio and he couldn't do it.. he claimed the heat from lights created a static electricity that made the pages stick together. Well that's Wrong scientifically. It was later proven this guy was blowing on the pages with his nose to make them turn.

The thing is.. this is ATS. Ats has been around for years. If someone had proof that these things could be done, and knew how to teach other people how to do it, there would be a whole lot of people here moving things with their mind.

I would be the first in line. Hasn't happened yet.

Interesting indeed. Could you get a link to your friends documentary for us?
