UPDATE/EDIT #2
Cardu just linked to a page that contains video covering the entire event. Here it is:
www.ufoevidence.org...

UPDATE/EDIT
I *believe* that these pages relay Jaime Maussan's original report (he was the reporter the Mexican Air Force gave the information to). I don't speak spanish, though, and couldn't get the page to translate correctly:
www.ovnistv.tv...

www.ovnistv.tv...

www.ovnistv.tv...

If I can find a complete, unedited version of the tape I'll try to link to it here
(end of edit)

Hey guys,
there is already a great thread concerning the Mexican Air Force UFO sighting... so I don't intend to write a repeat thread here... But I thought you guys might appreciate a quick reference thread that contains all the links people have come up with already (plus other stuff). I figure it might be easier for people just coming to the story if they could find all the links in one spot... rather than having to keep going back over the now very long thread that already exists over and over again.

This may turn out to be the most important UFO event in years...

Awesome idea, onlyinmydreams.

I wonder what percentage of these sites will be "This page no longer exists" by tomorrow...

I'm keeping some site contents saved as .txt's and pics, but I'm sure I'll miss a bunch.

Anyway, very thoughtful of ya to list the linkage here!

Here are some more links... I think they all (except for the spacewar.com article) carry the AP story... but it's still nice to see that the story is now being carried in lots of places:

Now I'm swamped with information Hahhaaha! I'll tell you though, it's worth it. I've been working on my own situation, and the more information I get here, the more I can understand what has taken place in my own life.

Thanks for the efforts. WELL worth it !

some more links. Two are just repeats of the AP story... but I'm putting them here so that it's clear that local papers/tv stations are now covering this. Also... sometimes papers/stations run an AP or reuters story but edit it differently:

news.com.au...
www.lasvegassun.com...

www.economist.co.uk...

www.qctimes.com...,1028157

When a few dayus have gone by I might edit my first post to include all of the extra links... so as to make this a true 'quick reference' thread

The middle two links wouldn't be as accurate in my opinion. They quote the Mexican Defense Secretary incorrectly (I'm hoping). They say they are unsure that they are UFOs. What are they morons? If they're not UFOs then what are they?

Great thread by the way, I'm gonna bookmark it.

It really is quite amazing that such limited (if any) media coverage has been given to this.

It adds more and more to a growing belief that the Super Powers are continuing to cover something up.

What that "something" is, is however another matter..

Friends,

This is an important development in Mexico: Mexico's
Department of Defense to announce today that UFOs are real.
.
Santiago Yturria-Garza is a respected photo-journalist.
Jaime Maussan
is a famous television news personality.
The Mexico Department of Defense getting involved is
excellent. Is this another stage in the Public Acclimation
Program to condition the general public to UFO reality?
First, Monsignor Corrado Balducci speaks on Italian
television about Star Visitor encounters as real, and the
Visitors as positive asnd more spiritually-developed beings
than humans.
Now, Mexico's Secretary of Defense, General Clemente
Vega Garcia, has decided to announce at a press conference
in Mexico City that the Department of Defense takes the UFO
phenomenon as reality Backing up this are UFO photos taken
aboard an Air Force drug surveillance plane with
state-of-the-art cameras.
Respected news producer Jaime Maussan called today's
press conference "historic" and predicts that "it will
change history."

They ran a short article (AP news) about the Mexican AF & UFOs in my local paper today (Journal News, NY), in the news section. It was the last article, last page, bottom, corner.
Not a very subtle burying of a story...I thought.

What if the UFO beings are druggies and like to traffic drugs around, you gotta believe if they are here and there is a semi-cover up to it is protect the morals of the world. I mean if beings with advanced craft were a bunch of reckless space cowboys you know that if there lifestyle was let out the world would follow in their footsteps and reject the moral code that most live by. They need a reason to visit us and one maybe that they like our drugs, opium, coc aine, weed, beer, ect... is enough to get them interested in our planet.
