Trip To Tibet and Abkhazia

I was planning on going to theese regions/countries. Has anyone been to theese places before?? Any help will be appreciated. Would monks let you stay with them for a few months in Tibet?? I always here storys of Monks letting you stay with them if you do work round the place and help out? Would anyone know if this is true? Also for Abkhazia, has anyone been to Sukhumi? Any information about theese two places (places to stay, places to eat) would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
