Regarding your idea for a law to be submitted for a congressman to submit.
I started a thread on how states are flexing their 10th amendment muscles. In it I broached this very subject on how to save our nation. I am going to add this to this thread and see where this may take us.

MY CONSTITUTIONAL CONGRESS PAPERS 1) We must abolish all laws that are unConstitutional or we no longer exist as a true country. If we want a new amendment, than enact one. 2) We must remove all of our foreign military bases and relocate them here, we have appx 800 foreign bases, imagine building that many bases here, can you say stimulus package. 3) We must investigate, impeach and prosecute all current and past members of our government for all offenses that are against our constitution 4) We must enact laws that set term limits for all government positions except Supreme Court Positions-them we enact an amendment that states that if a Judge at any level obviously contradicts the constitution they must be prosecuted for TREASON! 5) We make it illegal to lobby by giving money to politicians for campaigning 6) Regarding previous, we institute a fair and unbiased format to supply politicians with funds to implement their campaigns-logical and common sense 7) We institute set pay for all government by an unconnected private entity like the CBO and all government will not be paid if EVER WE RUN DEFICIT 8) BALANCED BUDGET AMENDMENT-except in time of war-we are not to be slaves to the government 9) We are to stay out of other countries business unless we are attacked, THAN WAR MUST BE DECLARED 10) If any government official tries to enact any law (except proper channels e.g. presidential decrees) that contradicts the Constitution e.g. Patriot Act they shall be found guilty of TREASON and hung IMMEDIATELY 11) ABOLISH FED enact a national bank where all profits are RETURNED TO AMERICAN PEOPLE 12) NO FOREIGN OWNERSHIP OF ANYTHING IN MY COUNTRY-IF THEY OWN IT NOW-THEY JUST FORFEITED IT-THAT INCLUDES FED Now these have to be done to save our country, if we do not, we will cease to exist as a SOVEREIGN NATION. I believe we will fall within the next five years. If you disagree, give me the reasons you believe these things not to be true. Act like your life and your childrens lives depend on it. THEY DO!

In the United States, most people equate "conservatism" with belief in a free market. This is interesting because when corporate blocks control the market, can you call it free? If your definition of a free market is simply the lack of governmental regulation, then perhaps you need to re-examine your definition of "free".

A great many conservatives, including the vast majority of the GOP base are simply tools of corporate interests and as such are about as pro-liberty as the average Marxist. Of course they don't see it because they've been blinded by leaders promoting patriotism and religion. Blue collar Americans have been duped into believing that only "government" can restrict their personal liberty. Some are waking up, but still too few. The corporatists snag them with useful idiots like Sarah Palin and they soon may rah-rah themselves into a corporatist hellhole just as bad as the old Soviet Union.

As you can tell, I haven't much faith in the twenty-first century conservative movement. They will get this nation to the same resting place as the Statists, just by a different route.

The only place I hear anyone talking about Civil War or armed insurrection is here on ATS.

I love this place, but you need to take a lot of what you read hear with a grain of salt - or a pound of it

Then you need to "get out" more...and by get out I mean look around political forums. I've seen this theme surfacing more and more lately.

Remove all foreign military bases? What?
Close off our borders and kick everyone out?
That's asking for a police state.
I don't want a police state.

Didn't we already have a Civil War? And didn't we learn from it that we will never have a civil war again? At least not this soon.

Have we identified TPTB yet?
I say Congress is TPTB. Above them is the G8. Everyone else is Dr. Evil.

Can you get any answers from this jj ?

From Wikipedia

Karl Heinrich Marx (May 5, 1818 – March 14, 1883) was a German[1] philosopher, political economist, historian, political theorist, sociologist, communist and revolutionary, whose ideas are credited as the foundation of modern communism. Marx summarized his approach in the first line of the first chapter of The Communist Manifesto, published in 1848: “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles.”

Marx argued that capitalism, like previous socioeconomic systems, will inevitably produce internal tensions which will lead to its destruction.[2] Just as capitalism replaced feudalism, he believed socialism will, in its turn, replace capitalism, and lead to a stateless, classless society called pure communism. This would emerge after a transitional period called the "dictatorship of the proletariat": a period sometimes referred to as the "workers state" or "workers' democracy" .[3][4]

The revolution is only possible if we put aside the notion of Left v Right, and take up the mantle of Truth v. Lies.

Right on Brother, I am with you!

As a Left-Wing, Progressive, I too see the need to end the right vs left mentality and to come together as a people and take back our country.

The leaders on both sides are continually driving wedges between US the PEOPLE to keep us fighting amongst ourselves thus unable to counter the subjugation we suffer at the hands of the corporate elite and their political stooges.

Once we have overthrown our oppressors we can work together in a less divisive manner, where one sides ideology tempers the others creating a balance in the actions of the nation. Sadly as it stands today the us vrs them mentality has weakened us and is only fueling discord.

An excellent post mate! Well done.
