Thanks for your thorough & patient approach to your posting of your info, D.Gribble.

I have looked at your videos & photos & I have read all of your commentary.

I am finding it difficult to draw to many detailed conclusions from your video's. Although I can clearly understand which lights are the subject of your discussion, I am finding it difficult to see those lights as anything other than "fuzzy" point light sources. I am using a very good PC & monitor with which to view them.

If I am to hazard a guess at a prosaic cause for the lights, I would have to guess at reasonably distant planes flying in your direction (& sometimes veering away from you & then back towards you). It is self evident there are arguments against this.

There have been a number of threads showing this sort of thing (i.e. planes flying towards the viewer), albeit the appearance has only looked a "little" like your videos & photos.

Beyond that & without clearer videos & pictures, those are my only thoughts.

D.Gribble I see you started a thread about wanting to draw peoples UFO encounters. Did you have a drawing of one in your car when you spotted the orbs?

Those lights are on the ground, and your video shows that. Why did you waste your time/our time posting videos that show nothing? Seriously.

Explain yourself.

"explain myself" lol

If you saw the pics and also the video you would see that it was not on the ground. If you took the time to look at the pics you would see that the light is no where near the horizon line. It's way above it.

You are wasting my time with your moronic comment that its on the ground. Thanks, move along.

Oh, my apologies! You were talking about that light from an aircraft about 25 miles away?! Sorry for mistaking that aircraft in your video for what you thought was a UFO. My bad. I forgot that was a no-fly-zone and that human aircraft could in no possible way be flying in the area.

Funny too, because from your description you said the light "seemed to be following me", which is exactly what a distant light from an approaching aircraft would seem to do: follow you.

And you admit to becoming so emotional about this light that you cried? And you told your girlfriend this? LOL - if I were you I'd be more worried about what your girlfriend is thinking of you now than some distant light in the sky.

If you lived here you might have a chance at tricking people into thinking your argument is valid. I have lived here my whole life, traveled on that road thousands of times since my childhood and have never seen that. Also, air traffic doesnt come from there, the air traffic is NE and is very obvious because they're tiny dots of light, not huge glowing things disappearing and reappearing at different altitudes. But I guess you wouldnt know that since you have no idea what you're talking about in the first place. Go track down your red stapler, Milton.

I would like all the arizona people to go out to that stretch of road and see for themselves. If you really want to see what I am talking about, go check it out. It is on the I10, on the west side at mile marker 171 /169 thereabouts. Go see for yourself. You might just see it and shut all these morons up about seeing street lights and garbage barges in the sky.

Yeah, I did the best I could with what I had available to me at the time. I am just trying to present all information I can, and encourage people to go out to that spot and see for themselves. But yeah, you are right, who knows what it was, it was just eerie as hell.

I went out to that stretch of road just now, to pinpoint where I saw it, so I can give better details. There was nothing even close to what I saw. I took some photos of the spots this night to show that the there is no air traffic where it was and that it was not a street light or stop light.

I was also contacted by MUFON and am speaking to an arizona field investigator at the moment.

I think it would be interesting to see some clearer day / night shots of that location, if you've taken them.

It would also be interesting to hear any comments from the MUFON investigator.

I took some day shots the day after the sightning, to show you how flat it all is. Also, I just got home from taking some night shots of the area on a "normal" night so you can see there is no air traffic and so you can see the horizon line. Here is the link to my photobucket with all the pics....

Just to confirm.......

I saw all of your previous photos.

Are you saying the photos you have just linked to are all new photos from your "sighting" area?

The nighttime ones I just took. The daytime ones were taken the day after. Its the same stretch of road. But of course I cant pinpoint exactly where I was because I pulled over so many times. But the light or object traveled along that same road so there was no "one" spot I saw it, it was all along that road.

So I guess it would be worthwhile to discuss any airports or military bases that are close by.

Are there any around?

I will also be interesting to know if MUFON confirms any other similar sightings in that area.

DGribbles,
Hi! Never posted to a Aliens thread before. It usually gets heated and turns into a ... well, a thread of people displaying attitudes I wish I didn't have to see/read. So I don't. Ya know? =)
There was some of that in this thread, but I thought you and a few other posters did a really admirable job of responded calmly and not letting that take the thread over. I especially appreciated you 'legit' thread comment.
I don't know what you saw, probably never will. That, I think is part of what makes these things so frustrating for everyone. But you did see something. You didn't post claiming you had ultimate 'proof'. You didn't post saying you had any answer. You just shared your information, very thoroughly. I really, really appreciate that!
Have a great day. I hope you find out more. (If you want to.) Oh, yeah, absolutely ignore the snarky comments putting you down for getting emotional. Women worth having value a man who can admit to having feelings. I would have been bouncing around like a ball of silly putty myself!
Thanks again,
~prep

Thank you for your comment. I think its funny how people focused on that instead of the real objective of the thread, just goes to show that they wanted to chime in to make themselves feel better by trying to make fun, but it just makes them look stupid. But I guess I should clarify, when I said crying, I didnt come home balling and tears rolling down my face. What happened was, I just had to stop telling my story a couple of times because I was getting chocked up.

But once again, I encourage all arizona residents on here to take a drive down that road, take 30 min out of your night to check it out, to see what I am talking about.

Oh, did you think I was talking out my #@$$? I lived in Ahwatukee for 7 years and hiked hundreds of times in South Mountain park, Camel Back, & Piestewa Peak (formerly Squaw Peak). Dozens of those times were at sunset into evening, stand on ridges/peaks, just enjoying the view.

As usual I'd always see the regular line of lights from approaching planes to Sky Harbor circling in from the East, but on occasion I'd see lights coming from different directions. Being Phoenix/Arizona, the air is usually clear enough that you can see these planes coming from very far away. Those lights would fade in and out as the plane banks and changes it's nose towards you. Basic stuff.

That's exactly what that light looked like in your video. The only peculiar part of your observation is your imagination.

I'm an extreme out doorsman and often find myself in the woods under the moon lit sky.

I've seen some strange stuff that I can rule out as Planes/Satelites/..swamp gas.

Back to the subject at hand:

For the most part there is NO lights out in that direction.
Also what really presuaded me to spark up my embracement of 'UFO's' Is the fact that just a week ago I watched a giant red light chill over phoenix pretty much on the extreme side of unordinary.

I recently moved to metro Phoenix from metro Detroit [talk about rising from the ashes] [or out of the frying pan and into the fire] [I could go on and on...].

I'll be here all year, folks.

Kidding aside, I'm intrigued by the amount of anomalous sightings 'round these here parts. The notorious "Phoenix lights," of course. I even saw an unusually bright and still object sitting high up in the NNW sky a couple of months ago, during mid-to-late evening. It was not a star, nor a planet. Looked bright enough to be a plane, but it wasn't moving.

Question, Arizonians--any great places around the Phoenix area to visit, away from city lights, to star/what the heck is that?-gaze?

By the way, I thought you guys had a major league baseball team here?

My father told me of a night in W. Pa as he was driving to my grandmother's house in the country. He was with his girlfriend, my stepmother, at the time. They both saw the same lights you were talking about, although these stayed with them... He turned off his lights to rule out reflections from the lights of the car, and they were still there. Not a single bit of traffic on the road, but them. The lights had to be within 200 ft of the car, because those roads were small and surrounded by old forest and mountainous terrain. Just as they appeared, they disappeared.

My grandmother wasn't home, yet. So they parked the car along the road in her front yard. They were talking about the lights and how uneasy they had felt. A sudden loud bump was heard on the car, which was felt by both of them as it rocked the car a bit. Dad was scared, but he turned on the lights and got out of the car with a flashlight. Couldn't find anything. Then, shining the flashlight on the car, he spotted a fresh dent in the door panel that looked like it was made with two square pieces of metal about 1 to 2 inches square, each. The imprint had chipped the paint and bare metal was seen around the edges of the imprint where the metal was bent the sharpest. The centers of the imprints were perfectly flat, not bowed like a normal 'hit' would be. I remember seeing these imprints the next day, and that dad was more than a little upset about them.

Haven't thought about that in decades. Looking back, I'm wondering if something wasn't attached to the car and decided to 'go home', and 'jumped off' the car?

It wasn't the first time things like this happened. Butler County has some really strange phenomena that would probably make many folks gets the shudders right down to the bone.

I thought I would add this because it seemed relevant. Back in those days the video camera wasn't an option.

I didn't read the whole 5 pages, but i just wanted to sy that if you want to see a UFO in Arizona, just look up and pay attention.

For years i've been watching lights that disappear and reappear, that stay in EXCTLY the same position in the sky as the stars precess on the background.

I saw one light blink off just as formation of A-10s came through the area on what looked like an intercept. They flew past it and it blinked back on slightly off the flight of -10s path after they passed the spot.

One night i had a black orb land near me, it was about the size and shape of a Hughes md500 fuselage without any visible rotor, tailboom, or even so much a seams. I was trying to sneak up to it and when i got within about 50' of where it was ground hovering, it rose quickly, accelerated ridiculously fast, and disappeared flying low over the horizon in an instant.

Another time, watching a light hover in the distance, i saw it drop down and fly high-speed low level through a valley, avoiding any populated areas.

There are plenty of weird things flying around AZ. A couple years ago when the Phoenix Lights part 2 happened, i was on my bike riding bcak from Tucson heading east on 10 just leaving the edge of the city when i was overflown by what appeared to be a MASSIVE craft of some sort, yeah, a black triangle. At first i saw it approaching me, i was the only vehicle on the road then, and it appeared to be 3 lights in a triangular formation. It looked like either a formation of aircraft with landing lights, or a big heavy like a C-5. I've worked in close proximity to C-5's, and as this approached it got a LOT bigger than a C-5 and i could see that it was one single object with 3 lights. It overflew me and by the time i got home everybody was going on about that same thing i saw terrorizing the skies above phoenix.

I doubt any of this is extraterrestrial in origin and is more likely related to the number of military installations and defense contractors in the area. Arizona is a proving ground for lots of stuff. I've seen a few things before, on the ground, in hangars, and in operation while "camping" at some facilities that would pass for alien craft.

I did have my "abduction" experience in Phoenix shortly after arriving there. Two "beings" with the power of telepathy and composed basically of energy somewhat fitting the description of common greys attempted to do the "brain suck" routine on me. For those that have had this experience, you know what the brain suck is. For those tht haven't it's like having your thoughts stolen from within your head by brute "psychic force". I don't know how else to decribe it. One being held my head down while the other straddled my chest and performed the brain suck. I resisted and after a brief struggle with some type of paraphysical form, or projection of energy, they gave up and looked for easier prey.

So if the brainsuck squad comes to get you, don't be a weenie, beat their manifestations back to the dimension or plane from which they came. Don't cry or they might eat your brain. Kick their asses back through the portal!
